Hello! I've a quick question about addon parts for the Dunekicker and it might be the appropriate place?
I'm trying to do something stupid which is adding the US lightbar (without the sign) and the hi lightbar mount to the Dunekicker. I successfully created a new slot in the parts tree under the roof pannel which is the "racetruck_roof_accessory". I can see it in game and I can see my parts in this slot. But when I load them, the lightbar itself works, it is here, but the mount is not here (or at least invisible) and so the lightbar just falls. I tried adding flashers too but these doesn't show up at all (neither in the same slot as the lightbar or a new one)... Do you have any idea why?

Update: I was able to attach the parts to the body but now i've got something weird. The lightbar's lights (light_bar_LED_US_lights) objet is in the right place (the blue/red textures are correctly showing) but the glowing effet (the light emitter itself) is not attached to the body and still falling behind the cab...

Maybe there are some invalid node triangles, since nodes of that name don't exist on the Dunekicker. What does the console say? Maybe you can see where those nodes are on the original car and then use nodes at roughly the same place on the Dunekicker

Ok so problem solved: the spotlights (props that allow the lightbar to illuminate the env) were not attached to the body, idk why... had to delete those, sadly

I was able to successfully add a new slot called "racetruck roof accessory" to the components tree beneath the roof panel. In the game, I can see it and my parts are visible in this position. However, when I load them, the lightbar itself functions as intended and is present, but the mount is absent or barely perceptible, causing the lightbar to fall. I also tried including flashers, but these don't appear at all.

Yep I had the same problem.
You need to attach your parts to the "roof" component and do the same for the lightbar's spotlights (in the "props" section of the lightbar's jbeam). Otherwise just delete the spotlight, which is less painful lol.

PS: otherwise I'll be posting one soon if you want
