Hello, I am in the process of figuring out how to get a wheel in-game. So far I have gotten it to show up in-game and all that. But as expected it just shows with the very familiar orange "NO TEXTURE" all over it. Console says this; I understand what it says, but I'm not sure why it is like this and of course how to fix it.
This is "NO MATERIAL." no texture is a lighter shade of orange and means something a bit different. I would recommend showing your materials file and the materials under your model so we can help you.
Well I can't for the life of me figure out Blenders texture/material functions. It has to be the worst program I've ever used. Absolutely terrible compared to 3ds max, C4d and ZModeler for example. I tried to apply the 2-3 textures the model needed, but nothing showed up in Blender as it was supposed to, and of course not ingame either. So I'm gonna have to try something else, or just give up.
the error implies TE37V_ncl1_1 and FBX-whatever are the existing materials that can't be found in the materials file, which makes sense since there's only a mapping for TE37V. I'm not certain if the screenshots are referring to the TE37V mesh name or if the material in blender is actually called that and it's being changed upon export or if the game is reading something different. The materials file should reference this guy. Maybe try adding a section in the materials file that refers to "TE37V_ncl1_1" instead of just "TE37V" also the FBX one - if that's mapped to anything.
I should've clarified, I switched to 3ds max as Blender was awful. And I believe the new errors in the console came after this. But either way, I had the same issue prior to this as well, while using blender. And the same errors just with different names. The materials just won't work, at all. I don't know what the FBX thing is. I only have two textures mapped to the wheel, or atleast SHOULD only have that. And that is "Rim_AO.png" and "Black.png"
