Thanks for reducing my problems by 50% mate
The light bar exists but doesn't emit a siren.
Now there's a light bar, but no working siren.

And I can't swap the siren either. literally only one is selectable and that's the non-working one.

this is a rather old mod you cannot expect everything to work correct

 

When I'm using an updated version of a rather old mod, I expect most stuff to work correctly.

 

why is it broken

 

I have no idea why people are saying it's broken. It works absolutely fine and the police siren also works.

Clear cache, download the most recent version and delete any outdated or conflicting mods......

 

the car ported from the other game uses the other game's textures and models
what a shocker, really got me there

and yeah this works as intended on every install ive tested it on using 3 other friends' computers as test dummies
idk skill issue just do the usual clear cache and nuke old version installs from orbit etc

i glued most of this thing together 4-5 years ago when i was 16 i would advise lowering your expectations a little, especially considering it was jank at best even on versions it was developed on

also because of this its a total disaster for me to work on and actively improve in any way, hence i have very little if any motivation to do anything aside from make sure it doesnt break with game updates

 

It doesn't work though. It literally, does not work. I have deep cache cleaned, cleaned my old versions, disabled all my mods except satsuma. Nothing. Nothing has changed.

 

What version are you on?

Guys this is an old mod... Like quite old. It likely won't be updated, and bumping a thread from forever ago does not make the mod magically work again.

 

what did he mean by this

replying to his bump that was several days ago doesn't make your e-pene any bigger it just gives me another notification several days afterwards (instead of the beam forums being weird and only showing me a notification for the first/last post of a chain in a few hours range)
