What's the difference between windows 10 and 11? I currently have 11 and it's working fine, I've only used 10 for school computers. The only difference between them is a reskin so nothing is too bad. But seriously, what is wrong with 11?

Reskin is annoying and cumbersome to me. 10 is easier to navigate and use for me. 11 sucks in my opinion.

Depends on who you are, differs between people. I hated it and couldn't get used to it. No point either, Win 11 doesn't give any benefit.

"Show more options" singlehandedly ruins this Microsoft piece of shit. The only reason I haven't upgraded to Windows 10 is because it'd be a mess to do

Actual Windows 10 + 11 guy here. TBH, 11 is still better than apple, but 10 is always and will always be the greatest.

Food tray door handle. Reminds me of Windows 11, trying to revolutionize something that already is and works perfectly fine. Bit odd how often it happens and in such different situations.

I upgraded my quite old PC to Windows 11 and I've been happy with it. It gave me a small performance boost (even in cinebench), I like the looks more and tabs in the task manager are god sent. Also the new window manager is great and there are quite a few useful changes still on the way. I wouldn't go back to Windows 10.

Hold up, performance boost? By how much? I tested it with my Dell G5 (2020?) and someone else's G5 who upgraded to 11 (different GPU since it's newer, borrowed it for a bit) and didn't see a difference. No difference was mentioned by the other person either.

Nothing major, but a 2% boost in Cinebench (multiple tests) and even a 5-6% boost in some CPU bound games. No effect on the GPU performance however. In addition the windows UI just feels faster than in windows 10, but that's probably why windows 11 uses slightly more RAM.

If the UI were the same, I'd say straight up, 11 wins then. I just hate the new UI layout, really kills it for me.

to be fair, if you change taskbar allignment to left in settings, it's not crazy different from windows 10. Just few more clicks maybe.

'few more clicks' that's the problem, it's unnecessarily more annoying. I'll watch for some sort of thing that makes 11's UI closer to 10 if it's ever made.

Those 'few more clicks' might not sound like much, but it adds up over time

Isn't it supposed to get EASIER over time? Like, more convenient? That's supposed to be the whole point of an upgrade.
