Well, you see, the so-called ‘Child Forums’… how should I put this lightly… don’t exist.

A long time ago you could chat with the devs through the game, but there was no multiplayer

I'm pretty sure it's a remanant of the template used for this forum

 

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not but, If the 'child forums' didn't exist, this site would be a lot smaller and harder to navigate, as I understand it.
The term refers to the 'parent > child' dynamic of the way the forums are structured.

eg; Mods > Vehicles > Land (where 'Vehicles' is a child of 'Mods', and 'Land' is a child of 'Vehicles', 'Mods' being a parent forum for the both of them and 'Vehicles' being a parent of 'Land')

There has never been a separate section for children, they are all over the site already.

 

If that wouldn't be just reusing existing content with only a few textures changed but rather repurposing it with extra content, it could be interesting. Though, it begs the question whether it wouldn't make more sense to just create a new car.

I mean, a corvette is a type of small or mid-sized boat, too. I'm no expert though.

 

Maybe there hasn't been a teaser yet because they are focusing on things like ABS or tire simulation, which are not very teaserable ?

 

Well , even the microblog wasn't updated , wich is were they show the work on the ABS.

In a future update we could have a non-off-road version of the SP Dunekicker

 

Pointless because the dunekicker is a dedicated trophy truck and would basically need to be remade from scratch.

 

According to what?

 

He was talking about that there could be one.

 

A trophy truck that isn't made to go off road? Wouldn't that just be a stadium truck? Which the Dunekicker already has a config for.
