If you would've paid attention, you'd notice that the mod officially updated a few weeks ago. Just download the official Mod from the Repo
As previously stated, I cannot do anything regarding uploading a hotfix update to the Kashira on the repository, despite getting permissions from everyone involved. Only Car_Killer can manually override this limitation as he has done with the revival update a few months back. The delay may be due to the staff members being busy with the 0.27 update, and I can only hope that he will have some free time to upload my next round of fixes sooner rather than later (or never). If that won't do it, then I may consider providing an external download link with the latest build (with the aforementioned interior skin materials fixed) so that y'all can skip the waiting process. But then that means those who subscribed to the repository won't get the update unless they browse through this thread occasionally. Therefore, this will be a last resort if said build isn't approved within the next month or so. At the very least, the mod still works in version 0.27. I don't think there are any further issues present at this time, but I will double check regardless before I can be 100% confident with providing this hotfix. I apologize for the delay, but thank you for understanding.
would it be possible to bring this mod up to current standards? (such as openable doors, shifters with sounds and perhaps some new dash textures?)
I've considered adding animated manual shifters and openable doors (apart from the sliding doors) back when version 0.26 was released. Adding those two features requires some additional changes to the JBeam structure as far as I'm aware of, so I might not guarantee they would be properly implemented after my first attempt ended in failure. That being said, they are not ruled out completely, so if I attempt incorporating them again in the future, then animated manual shifters and openable doors may be added in another content update to the mod. The main purpose of my revival update is to ensure that it is not functionally broken as major game updates are released. Only then would I add the latest features each update added, hence why I was able to implement PBR paint materials, updated light bars, and roof racks.
This mod broke my bluebuck, it has to do with the bluebuck.materials.json file in vehicles\common\reziavan and after deleting the file the glass returned back to normal
I dont really use the mod because it conflicts whit alot of my other mods v8 fleet and I6 texture broken steering wheel texture broke on other interior colors exept gray. Other than that it kinda works it drives it steers it stops.
I apologize for a lack of activity a few months ago, but most of y'all might have seen a recent post from me regarding my mental health and the like; it's linked here in case you want to read it. But yes, the anecdote that I provided summarizes everything that's been going on with me for a good while now. I am now questioning my ability to continue maintaining the Kashira mod, a mod that proved to be popular among many users on the forums back then and even today. Because the chances of getting the latest version of the mod posted onto the repository is extremely slim at this point, I will provide a download link to said version here. It fixes the interior material issues and adds some content courtesy of Bolt2407_Beamfan. Please disregard the link if and when the repository listing is updated. Going forward, any further updates I contribute will be bugfixes of any sort if a future game update breaks the mod even further, but those updates will not be as frequent. While I really enjoy the Kashira mod in terms of features and content, I believe it may be time to move on for good. Thank you for understanding while I try my very best to get everything sorted out.
Been quite wondering, Will this get updated? I'd really like it because of the Youmu Konpaku Livery on it, and it deserves to get a update already!
There's literally an update in baarry's post 3 above yours, google drive link in the second paragraph
