Re: General discussion chat Fuck the shareholders, hell, I'll do it as an Easter egg type feature if I have to.
Re: General discussion chat It's always irritated me at how it'd be so damn easy if the odb codes and sensor readouts were displayed there. It's a perfect opportunity. I'm sure they just don't want people to have easy access to all that information. It would just lead to the car company having to deal with a bunch of people complaining about how their transmission is running too hot, when it's actually the normal temperature for the car. Stuff like that.
Re: General discussion chat well they could have the obd "app" or setting or however they have it setup just tell you what temps are normal and things like that
Re: General discussion chat The super fancy systems are already on the canbus, there is literally no reason for not having it from the hardware side. Even if it was a hidden feature, holding vol+, vol- and mode while turning the electrics on enables it or something.
Re: General discussion chat The most I've ever gotten a car to tell me was in a rental Chrysler Town and country. Coolant temperature, oil temp, and oil pressure. Most cars won't tell you shit. It's pretty irritating, really.
Re: General discussion chat Yeah. Apparently he tried pulling an AwesomeSauce, too (created a new account called 'Hagrid' which also got banned rather quickly)

Re: General discussion chat I've thought about how terrifying it'd be if that happened. Never thought it was actually feasible, though. I swear if that happened I'd jump through my fucking window on the second story of my house. I'm not particularly scared of spiders, but any insect in large groups is pretty scary.
Re: General discussion chat Tdev made the obvious joke that everyone else made, but with admin powers OMG SO FUNNY AND WITTY XDXDXDXD (Still funny tho)
Re: General discussion chat Thought a couple of people here might like this. The whole channel is pretty entertaining.
Re: General discussion chat The Chrysler Corporation is slowly becoming my favorite American car company ever. Their cars? They all have something that I love about them. Their ads? Brilliant. I'm almost excited to see what Chrysler makes next. There's really only a few things that I'd want out of them: a Dodge Dart SRT-4, a Ram SRT-10, a Viper Roadster.
Re: General discussion chat There is a reason they need a runway as opposed to a road. Roads have corners, runways don't
Re: General discussion chat True. But you do have to admit, what that guy said towards the end of the ad was pretty cool. "They won't be driving too fast. They'll be flying too low."
Re: General discussion chat I'm pretty sure my dad is going to be getting his 2012 Infinity M56x today. 420HP 5.6L V8. Test driving it was fun. It also has the optional rear electric sun shade. Not that interesting, but it was a $4,000 option.
Re: General discussion chat Holy shit. I was reading up on an ADHD forum, and I had a realization moment. ADHD is the reason why my life and its habits are the way they are. Kneeling when I play games on the computer; inability to verbally express emotions; hyper/hypostimulation in different situations (I am unable to realize just how much I had been talking for in a conversation; no sense of time; I absolutely hate public environments because there is such an overload of stimuli from the amount of people and the smoke and the CROWDS OF SLOW WALKERS THAT NEED TO JUST MOVE, etc.); reason why [recently] I have noticed I am much more physical in a relationship, and it isn't for a creepy reason (I like to be hugged, a lot, and I can't feel close to someone by having them say it to me), which will probably screw me over later on; I maintain the mindset that I will get stuff done at home after school, but once school is out, that mindset goes out the window; the lack of response to certain stimuli (once again) holy shit, that is so offsetting for others and myself. This probably converted into a different race in terms of the way it was going point-wise by the time the paragraph ended, but I needed to get this off my chest.
