I know on this thread are people from around the world. I'm from Poland and for me and probably many people from EU silver ETK in sedan will be a dream come true. You can ask why? One of German TV stations (RTL) from 1996 to now have TV series called Alarm Fur Cobra 11. In short, two policemen crashing silver BMW and catching criminals. For most people nothing special, but they are crashing 2-5 cars in every episode and there are 370 episodes. They wrecked more than 7000 cars and vehicles so far. For people like me, this TV series was keypoint to be interested in BeamNG.drive (cars go brrr) but in long term they and me started to see in BeamNG something more than a crash simulator. Silver ETK as undercover police will be something special, for me this is hero car. I know this is not speculation but I always wanted to say this to give devs a hint because EU devs probably have seen at least one episode. I also wanted ETK Driving Center to be with some kind of autobahn because silver ETK with german autobahn... man... I can only dream. Below I put video made by one of fans: Link
Of course it's still on, they changed format in 49 season to longer movies than episodes. I'm gonna say that they are worse but to 46 season it's all great if u expect modern version of old version. Season 47 and 48 is also good but is more dark and more storytelling.
The Stunt Missions scenario mod has a couple of scenarios based on Cobra 11, they're pretty fun to play so a couple of new scenarios in that fashion (or a remake of the Cinematic Chase scenario) would be a great addition
That would be a dream come true, especially an etk expansion with the Autobahn, I know we have the highway in Johnson valley now, which is cool, but it’s not comparable to a real autobahn
ETK Driving center expanded with Villages and an proper Autobahn loop how its now only a few are driving there and then not for long
Yep! A miserable 2-stroke piece of crap with plastic body panels would be interesting to see in the lore of BeamNG.
I did indeed mean the LTA, but one could argue that the LT6 might look European too lol, seeing as it's a somewhat reverse-engineered Ferrari 458 motor.
Alright, cause I got a little bit confused at the beginning. Yeah, the LT6 might look European too (even more so than the LTA because of the way it sounds, which is absolutely Ferrari V8 with a Novitec exhaust) but don't forget that it's still 1l larger than the engine of the 458 (5.5l vs 4.5l), so it's not exactly reverse-engineered! As for the LTA, it really was a wasted opportunity. Not that I don't like the LT4 Supercharged 6.2 the other Blackwings (namely the CT5-V) have but the LTA could've become a legend in its own right in the Cadillac stable. It sounded great, like what the AMG M177 should sound.
I learned that the reason they dropped it is because it was costing them $15-20,000 USD just to manufacture the motor, far too much to be sustainable.
I agree with that but ok, Audi's 2.5 I5 costs about the same afaik (a friend of mine owns the 8V generation - 2019 model, with the OPF - and he's the one who told me that). Cadillac brass could certainly justify using the LTA in the higher end of their luxury car stable. It seems to me that bean counting got a little bit further than it should.
It would've happened anyways once someone figured something out/ teaser was released. but it's best to take the off-topic here - General Car Discussion | Page 954 | BeamNG
I hope they make a convertible version of the l series, and also revamp the 800 series with a facelift.
I, on the other hand, hope they make gas/diesel I4 and diesel I6 versions, as well as a Wagon body. And a small V8 (a 3.6 liter, for example) would be nice for the range topper of the normal versions, besides the ttSport ones! I have the normal versions like this on my mind: 2000: 2.0 gas I4 2000(t)d: 2.0 (turbo)diesel I4 (available in both NA and turbocharged versions) 2000i: 2.0 gas I6 2400i: 2.4 gas I6 (the plain "2400" badge goes away since the 2.4 I6 is no longer the base engine) 3000i: 3.0 gas I6 3000(t)d: 3.0 (turbo)diesel I6 (available in both NA and turbocharged versions) 3600i: 3.6 gas V8 And the ttSport ones are like now: 2400ti ttSport and 2400tix ttSport, both with a turbocharged 2.4 gas I6. But the 3000i could get the ti ttSport/tix ttSport treatment too! --- Post updated --- And the 800-Series should get a mid-cycle facelift, you're right!
There is almost no way it’s a 3.6L V8. I would expect 4L minimum. V8s that tiny are normally race motors or very high end supercar motors
I want to see more about 800's new model. The current bumpers' design style is too 'thick' for a sedan. AND,how will the devs name the sedan?'800 series sedan' is weird.
