Yes the legacy bolide mod fixes it because the gagues use the old bolide textures.

 

The revamp wouldn't need to depend on any other mods.

It was a joke.
A carrier pigeon is when somebody gives a pigeon something, and the pigeon brings it to a person.
Most of the time it's a letter, sort of like the Hogwarts owls.
And the DSC Fligeon is a mod that turns the Ibishu Pigeon into a makeshift aircraft.

I know that this is kinda pushy to ask, but will teaser photos get released at some point?

 

Why is the paint so bright and shiny? I cant adjust it like in other cars so the only color that looks "normal" is white, maybe its something on my end since I haven't seen anyone complaining about it so idk

 

It uses pre-PBR (Physics Based Rendering) Materials and thus they look old

 

This mod is pretty old, what you are seeing is a lack of PBR textures and materials. The official vehicles were either released or mostly updated to use these, this mod is yet to receive them. I believe PBR textures are in the works, however, as a small group of people is working to update this mod somewhat to bring a fair amount of it to more modern standards.

 

In addition to what @Lewhik and @Jackets64 said, there are different paint schemes that add different textures, such as metal paint, restored paint, and others.

 

i dont want to be sketpical abt it. but i think there are some people ( youtubers, devs ) that have an earlier access ( tesing phase ) to the mod. this might not be true, but its a theory i have.
