Oh. I thought he was just giving a reference so those who don't know cars well could tell what he's talking about. I misunderstood the post then.
I thought he meant that the gen 5 Camaro was built on the Zeta platform but that had nothing to do with the Gto/Monaro although I only thought that because I had no idea about the prop being monaro/gto based which is pretty cool. And to keep with the theme. Well kinda haha
Race gets stopped so track can be fixed. Mercedes ends up on its roof. Multiple crashes at turn 2. Lowndes spins Winterbottom. Volvo didn't finish the race. VIP Petfoods crashed and couldn't finish. Lowndes nearly looses it on the mountain. Whincup and Mostert have epic final lap battle. Whincup runs out of fuel. Mostert who started in last place wins. Nah, pretty quiet this year. lol
Ok ok ok am a huge ford fan i live ford. But my mate got a vs And it gives the falcon a run for it's money But my ba falcon still beats it. But wow what a nice car the vs is. And kind off off topic But not much. Aussie demo derby pics One is a ford but it had a long life went out with a bang.
Well to be fair the VS Commodore is nearly 10 years older than your BA. Also, congrats on the factory Ford win at Bathurst
Yea, what a great race. As a ford fan I do feel bad for Whincup and van Gisbergen. Everyone gave their best, what a great ending. Video of the final few laps: http://www.v8supercars.com.au//view/videos/the-final-laps
Well that vs was awesome i give it 8/10. To be honnest i like holden allmost as much i love ford. If it was honda or holden give me holden
You holden guys will appreciate this. Clip is at :25 Not exactly sure if the car doing the burnout is a Holden or not. I'm sure someone here can tell.
I really cant tell what the burnout car is, the cop car is a 2006 Holden VE SS Commodore though. "Get out of the road or i'll punch ya in the fuckin head" Gotta love the cops - - - Updated - - - My best guess is a Holden HD (imported from here)
I'm sure it was a valiant, I used to have a valiant just like that one, We never restored it though it sort of got pushed to the side. The Holden sandman was more important then the valiant.
Some fella from the UK was arrested in Victoria for driving at 215km/h in a 110km/h zone, he was driving none other than a Holden VF Commodore.
This makes me want to smash my head on a anvil, Why you may ask? The HSV cannot be replaced. https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/15097053/police-pursuit-ends-in-crash-in-morley/
After 2016 when these babies go out of production, there wont be another ute. This is the final stretch of our proud auto industry. RIP utes
i wouldn't be surprised if someone made a place that would do ute conversions for future vehicles (when the ford excursion got stopped, this company in oklahoma started doing conversions to convert new trucks into excursions, http://www.customautosbytim.com/ so i wouldn't be surprised if a similar company popped up in asutralia to do ute conversions)
