There is actually a precedent for changing rooflines during a facelift, or at least a semi-facelift: the Chevrolet Cavalier and its rebadges. The coupes got a much more rounded roofline during the 1988.5 refresh, while both the coupe and sedan became rounder in 1995. Both of these refreshes are severe enough that they are generally considered redesigns/generational changes, but apparently enough of the underlying chassis stayed the same that all Cavalier/J-body suspension components are fully interchangeable from 1982 all the way through to 2004.

Is it just me or does this car desperately need a PBR-ed interior?

I‘m not sure about this but did 0.27 change something about the durability of the etk I series performance blocks? The stage 2 performance block now can’t even be used with a stage 2 turbo so you cannot produce more than 561hp without the engine blowing up. I have made some configs around 4 months ago tho which have way more power but now the just blow up instantly. I’m quite sure that this didn’t happen before, as I probably wouldn’t have saved them

I think the durability has been changed around a number of times now, I remember at one point they barely couldn’t hold up to some boost, then they were stronger, and now, according to you, they are weaker again.

I had that same thing almost a year ago. Some engines are like that unfortunately.

There is no real life car which the etk i is meant to be, but it is more likely to represent or rather be inspired by a 5 series as it’s a German brand

It's sized like an E28, only a few millimeters longer.

I know, but Sunny had ALMOST nothing to do with the i-series, wasn't it? Or was it just Sunny that had a similar design to the I-Series real-life counterparts like Audi 100, E28, etc

A few things to fix in the I-Series
    1.No Manual Shifter
2.No 55MPH marked in some way in the MPH gauge cluster

A few things to fix overall
1.No fuel caps in some cars
2.No 55MPH marked in some ways in some 70s to 80s vehicles

It does have a manual shifter, just not a sequential one.

TBH I feel that the ETKI could perhaps also use with a total overhaul, while initially released it was one of the more impressive cars graphically, BeamNG has come such a long way since then that now I feel it has become a bit outdated, namely lacking the details, finer quality and features of current BeamNG assets (for instance the interior materials, to my knowledge, still don't even utilise PBR textures:p)

Also seeing as the covet got it, I wouldn't ming a subtle design refresh, in similar fashion to the covet the ETKI has always felt a bit too square to me for a german car of that era, and could probably use some some smoothing of the proportions while retaining the overall design language:)

As for the fuel caps, that is an issue most vehicles in Beam have, there is a reason for this as Gabester said a long time ago, the vehicles use a mirrored UV setup, so having a filler cap on one side would also mean you would have to have one on the other, or just not have one at all. That said you could possibly workaround this, simply by having a few faces around the filler mapped to a different part of the texture to contain the extra ao and normal details

"You may have too many mods." One of those mods are conflicting, deactivate etk mods one at a time to see if anything is conflicting.
