It's worth remembering that bugs can crop up last minute, even moments before release. There's a plethora of reasons developers can randomly delay updates due to unforseen circumstances
We still haven't seen a full-body- reveal of the new cars yet - those usually come before the update. I would say week after next at the absolute soonest.
they work on multiple projects at once, they said they were making the content of 0.27 for like 5 years iirc
Guys relax, the update is coming soon and sticking to the 3 month cycle as usual, the fact that creator program got updated second time after several days indicates that the update is almost ready and they needed to fix some more stuff. Friday is a good bet, if not then next week for sure
I think a point that we clearly saw in the last update is diversification. As you do in professional environments, the devs work in teams. We saw the Covet much before it was released, it might be the case that a team (say phisics team) has finished work on somethinhg a month before an update is scheduled. They have time to develop new stuff for the next one. It isn´t necessarily the case where everyone works for three months and then starts something new from scratch but rather they release all that´s finished at that time. Maybe even the teams are split and some people in the "car-design" are already working on what´s next while others finish the etks
... or they could be using the creator program to get quick and continuous feedback on a specific feature while it's in early development (please let it be the automatic transmission shift/torque converter logic, I will happily wait another three months for them to finally get that right) In that case it wouldn't really have any bearing on an imminent update, and another reason to believe this is the case is that an ETK 800 skin just got approved on the repo. Last Friday, they even approved an update for the ETK 800 coupe mod, telling me we probably have quite a while to go before the update is anywhere near done
Yeah man, automatic transmission stuff needs work, but for now i use the mod Updated Shiftlogic Automatic Transmissions by @default0.0player and i modified some things myself on top of that
What is wrong with the current system? I’ve noticed a few issues on my own but wondering if I’m missing something
They don't really care about that, if the mod is fine and the guy want to update it, they just agree with that, it's not related to a game update.
I'm just a little upset that they didn't made that rear-door-window-line like on basically every BMW, which in my opinion ETK mostly based on. Especially since they did something like that on the I-Series and even the community mods shares this detail, which is not really the case, but still. Furthermore, on remaster this bit doesn't represent neither Audi, nor Benz, it only refers me to Polo Sedan. I understand that devs shouldn't constantly refer to real brands, especially at such small details. Just some thoughts on it
Nah, I got used to that outline. Besides, the K-Series has got that tiny rear kink too, so it creates a family connection between the ETK models.
You mean the automatics? They're very slow, what usually happens to me is, while I'm driving a car fast, i keep partial throttle for a corner, the transmission upshifts, but when i go back to full throttle it just stays in the higher gear for a few seconds and it screws up my exit. I don't have any personal experience with automatics but according to a lot of people that's unrealistically slow, a modern transmission should kick down much earlier
Yeah I was talking about the autos, I mean it sort of makes sense in older automatic cars but new ones should be quicker with the shift logic
