Update Speculation thread

Hoping we get one last teaser before the update today, maybe a full view of one or both remastered etk’s would be stunning

actually.. the devs themselves dont know.. hence why they say "when it's ready" because of the number of unforeseen bugs and issues to iron out

 

My best guess is sometime next week, usually by now more of the upcoming vehicles would be teased, we haven’t even seen a whole car yet, plus it gives them the rest of the week to sort out bugs and other unforeseen issues.

 

Teasers are pretty random, you can't know what will be shown before release. Also qa_latest is pretty dead today, usually on update day it's more active

See, I don't think there's an update coming out any time in the immediate future. There could be, but realistically none of us have enough information to know what's going on at BeamNG HQ. Normally the devs jump into this thread to stir up hype in the days leading up to an update, but that hasn't happened yet.

I'd say next Thursday or the Monday after is a reasonable guess though, because it's around Easter which is historically the time spring updates have been released.

 

April 19th, that's my bet. This gives me approximately 1/275 chance of getting the update date right, provided it's coming this year.
