Probably my modeling. This is my first time fully modeling something of this complexity from scratch, and I am proud of how it has come out so far. This also relates to my next progress update, so be prepared for some good progress.
can you add scratches and stuff to the car like in this video? (13) This BeamNG Drive Car Mod Have SCRATCHES!How to Install - YouTube
can you make its so we can use the old gen 6 or the new gen 6? like nothing will overight so like you could pick if you wanna use the old one or new one
They use different file names, so they should be fully compatible. The old one uses the file name "nascar" while this one uses the file name "cupgen6".
Just so you folks know! This is definitely not a dead project, I have been hard at work with something--you will find out about it in at most a few weeks. I probably should have posted more frequent updates about it, but eh, I've committed to finishing this part so when I wrap up these last things I will have a massive update to post. Keep watch!
I have asked for alot of things, but when doing the body, could you maybe make this a changable part? Rear bumper extensions on superspeedway cars.
if you see an orange box next to the title that says "WIP" it means it a work in progress so you can't download the mod it still being worked on
welcome to the forums!! it isn't out yet, it'll be done when it's done. right now it's tagged as "WIP", when it's available for download it'll either be tagged as "WIP Beta Release" or "Released"
Good news, everyone. I am nearly ready to post the massive progress update, I just need to add proper materials first. There's lots to come in the near future! One thing I noticed about the old gen 6 mod was how extremely difficult it is to add a new body style. This mod, on the other hand, will make it trivial. All it takes is importing the mesh, copying ONE file, and changing simple stuff in that file. No need to copy every body JBeam file, change the mesh and slots in each file, and have it become outdated when I post an update. Now, every JBeam structure will be the same for the bodies (unless BeamNG allows hidden variables that can be set in the main body file), only the meshes will be swapped out. This makes development so much easier and simpler for the user to swap bodies while keeping parts equipped. Stay tuned to find out more!
