Thanks again for yet another update!

 

I'd be thrilled if this got an update for the refreshed ETK's

 

I didn't even open the game after the update, but the moment I put my hands on it, I'll update it

 

Oh yes, was just about to comment on the 0.28 compatibility issue as well as the possibility of an update to this mod. I have always loved this mod since the Beam devs probably will never ever actually do anything to the shiftlogic on the vanilla vehicles. And as always, my test with the ETK just now returned with absolutely nothing, and its still the same uselessly high revving and unresponsive shift map as it was. What a shame.

 

I cant agree more! We are really lucky Xupaun continued this mod after Default Player dropped it sadly.

Oh yes definitely I am glad somebody has decided to update this mod. I once tried to fix it myself but ended up breaking the mod. Thanks to Xupuan for giving it a second life.

 

I tried it too because i simply wont play without it but i have zero modding skills and broke it too while try to fiddle with it. Im really grateful for his extensive work to keep it up and running.

 

Just a question, the problem only affects the refreshed ETKs, right?

 

The 8AT (shiftlogic mod) for both the 800 and the K series seems to work fine. However, I've only tested it with the K series. I don't think there's a change of gear ratio for the new remastered ETKs? I'm also not quite sure about the 800 as I'll have to look up for it after this, and the Bastion has now got an animated shifter, not sure if the current version of the mod is compatible with the new animated shifter though.

 

i noticed that none of the cars with the shiftlogix transmission have shifter animation.love this mod been using it for a really long time

 

Try to delete the mod, clear cache and reinstall. it worked on my end with atleast 50% (i simply didnt use no more than that in my play session today so i cant speak for all vehicles)

 

The DCT didn't work anyway on the ETKs, since you could have the automatics and both the 8AT and 8DCT had the same gear ratios. Now with the refresh, the ETK DCT is a 7 speed,, So I gave it the same treatment I did to the SBR4.

Update Time. Modern ETKs fixed, and a little surprise on the ETK I and Wendover transmissions.

Quick question. Is the 7spd DCT on the 800 series now like the new vanilla 7 spd TTsport DCT? if not could you ad the 7-spd shiftlogics to the new ttsport DCT?

The 7DCT is just the new TTsport DCT.
Actually, it is just the SBR4 7DCT (behaviourwise) with the ETK 7DCT TTsport gear ratios, even with the same "Torque Converter". Maybe I'll need to resize it to the ETK's engines, specially the V8TT

 

It is just the SBR 7DCT but with the new vanilla gear ratios from the TTsport DCT. I can't add the dctShiftlogic to any DCTs apart from the Scintilla and the Vivace, because it breaks the automatic shifters' animation, so the ETK's, Sunburst's and the SBR4's DCTs are, actually Automatics with transbrake and very quick shifting

Now that I'm testing the new ETKs, the transmissions kind of feel like they are slipping a little, specially on the shifts, apart from the 7AMT (Which I should put the same gear ratios from the TTsport 7DCT). Put try on your ends and give some feedback. Also I feel that slippage on the Vanilla transmissions, so I'm quite sure it is not the mod's fault

 

will the diesel 6 speed on the d/h series get an adaptation?

 

It could, but is it THAT different from the non diesel 6AT?

 

I tested it and feel it too but for my taste i would just "tighten up" the "torque converter" on the 7spd DCT for the 800 and K-Series with the SBR ratios but thats just my personal taste so if you feel them fine leave it to them since you pulling of all the work on this mod.

I dont really feel so. Maybe you can come up with something you experiement with but its totally close to the gas 6-spd and fits the Diesel just fine. Atleast the Shiftlogics version. The vanilla autos are all bad in my mind.
