View attachment 1011992 Available on Gumroad and Ko-Fi as an early access mod for 3USD/2.70EUR The Autobello Beach Buggy is a Piccolina-based offroad vehicle, gaining popularity for it's cheapness and great handling compared to the bigger, metal vehicles of the era. It's design is also really versatile for on/off-road use. Hey TheTalkingBath! Nice to see you post here! This is an amazing mod ive been following up on for months, and it's only fair to call this a masterpeice. It reminds me of those beach buggies from GTA LCS lol. Good luck in the future!
Haven't you learned? BeamNG forums members never read! /s Also yeah I just didn't pay attention because I'm on 6.5 hours of sleep lol
i like it but the collisons with cars are still pretty raw not good at all but it drives good you also need to add the License Plate to it i would add some art of cage like most buggys have and put the plate on there or you put it on the chassis next to the taillights but i really like the mod
as i said here i really like the mod but obviously there is stuff to be done : Plates, Better Collisions the car needs to be more unstable in crashes since those things are like the Piccolina pretty weak in crashes and more but i like it and i really love to drive around in it
i Have a problem with the wheels dont know how but still there after reinstalling clearing chache and everything else but besides that its a funny little beacch buggy
I'm not really sure on that, likely not, since unwrapping an UV map for skins on that body shape looks quite hard and I'm not sure how well It'd go --- Post updated --- making it even more unstable will just lead it to be undrivable and wobbly, beamSpring (beam stiffness) values are quite low already --- Post updated --- I've never seen that issue before, so I don't really know what could be going on there
ah damn :< well, i feel like it would still be worth a shot, though. being able to make skins would be awesome for an off-road centered vehicle like this one. could lead to some real MotorStorm type stuff who knows, maybe it might turn out pretty good? if i had the knowledge with this kind of stuff, i would definitely offer to help
I bought the mod, and I noticed a few things. If this has been mentioned or noticed, please tell me. 1. The deformation is really not great, and even though it wasn't really my main focus to destroy it, it was noticeable. 2. The interiors are way too wobbly, and makes it very hard to drive in first person. 3. The front wheels on the 2+2 offroad configuration can flip around and make it not able to drive anymore, since the steering is now opposite. 4. The model quality does not feel that good, as it's too bare and doesn't have anything interesting. The roofs, as well, are extremely thin and are super delicate. 5. It's a pain to drive on sand on keyboard, it's impossible to control and the interior doesn't even let me make it easier because of the dizzy inducing shaky interior and camera. 6. Gauges are clearly re-used from the Barstow, and there's still Gavril badging on it. 7. One of the configurations has the 2+2 logo on the wooden dashboard, while it is not a 2+2. 8. Adding on to #4, everything other than the badge, lights, and dashboard is just one texture and has absolutely nothing on it. The buggy looks very low quality because of this, and some more detail and small features could really spruce it up. (Extra) Maybe name the vehicle something else from just "Beach Buggy", maybe "Autobello Solegiatto?" (Autobello Sunny) I hope to see this improve, as it's a buggy that is actually its own thing and isn't a modified version of a normal car (as in, the car with different suspension and that's all) and it could be super fun. Please, know this isn't insulting the mod, I'm just giving some feedback! The mod is still super fun to mess around with.
