normally how this works is

if the author has progress to post, they will post the progress

if not, there's a reason they haven't posted anything and we should respect that decision on their part

 

So waiting for this mod can go 2 ways:

1. mod releases for free, I can play it
2. mod gets paid release, inaccessible for me

better not wait for this mod then.
