BRILLIANT! Should I use the engine from the recent coupé variant? Most of the older engines broke when I made the Eco/Base version for some reason.
I'm glad to say that TastiCola car turned out to work very well, @e r i k! I've used the engine from the coupe variant, with reduced power in order to simulate additional weight. Above: A side-by-side comparison between the OG Walrus, the TastiCola version, and the D-Series. More information will be provided upon release.
Looks like Tasti Cola got a small budget to modernize itself ! Btw , here is the video from Fillman you talked about
Glad you're excited! Unfortunately, the TastiCola can won't have collision, because I've had to enable the unbreakable fixtures option to keep the dashboard in place, but I hope that's not too big of a problem for you.
Make one of those foodora shitboxes you always see randomly (I.e missing hubcap, rust/mud everywhere, shitty foodora stickers on doorpanels etc.) and instead of calling it foodora, call it beamora
How about I work that into @itzdaechoindawadaa's CDM suggestion?, I'm working on a TurboBurger version right now, so you probably won't see it until next week though.
Sorry to say this, but there's have been some minor setbacks including... forgetting to make the TurboBurger model... (Yep, I guess Dying Light is way too addictive.) Considering TurboBurger is a fast food chain, and those sorts of companies usually hire people to deliver food with their own cars, maybe I could incorporate all three ideas together? First, I could make the CDM model (complete with rust and other wear and tear) seperately, and then clone it and add the TurboBurger livery to it. Then I put the two in the pack and release it as a double whammy to save me time! How does that sound?
I think the Paxel Walrus HC is the car you're looking for! It's been in the mod since 4.0, but this car should fill your criteria.
Loaded with all of about 60 horsepower, the Paxel Walrus CDM is here! I was rather surprised by how well these cars actually turned out, and I think you're going to enjoy these. More information will be provided upon release...
I've put the CDM models in the main pack, but I've had to remove the Eco model because I may run out of space for the final update of Part 1 (releasing in two weeks time). Future updates will continue in a second pack, so please keep your suggestions coming!
Upon searching for this car on Google (boredom moment) I've found that this car hasn't just been reposted once, nor twice, but 6 TIMES on 3 other websites, in the form of V4, V4.5, and even V5! Time to see how long it takes for 5.5 to reach ModLand when it hits the repo, eh? The fact that people are even resorting to re-uploading Automation mods gets me cracked up! I'm surprised they actually managed to slip under the radar for as long as they did...
I'm pretty sure the only reason why they are re-uploading it is for pirates that don't have access to the repository :skkull:
Yeah, I suppose. They could also just go to the official one, but I guess that's just too hard for the poor darlings. I'm now waiting to see how long it takes for 5.5 to reach ModLand (although it probably won't take long) --- Post updated --- Well would you look at that! It's already up on ModLand! What a surprise(!)
