been pretty lazy and things (graduation in 11 days if all goes well) but i've been poking up some things even though the legran seats are more accurate style wise to what i would've wanted, completely skipped over the fact that the legran seats are pleather vs cloth in the wendover. plus interior skins weren't working the way i wanted. wendover seats will do for now. wood trim is an option, but by default all the plastics stay dark grey regardless of what skin you select, unlike default wendover where it *is* dependant on that. (and i realise these screenshots are a horrible example, because they'd be grey'd out for this skin anyway butttt whatever). anyway, yay for completely stock wendover interior. (kill me) (yes some things will change slightly, but not a lot cause ughghghghghhhhhhh) been fiddling with values because things shake, and they shouldn't, and beamdamp, spring, nodeweight, amount of notes, support beams are all a pain but it works ok. it's better than if i adapted given jbeams to it, i guess. (i hope, lol) hopefully by next update, most or all the panels will be on and jbeamed, but i'm pretty happy that it's looking like An Car. excuse the missing stalk (kill me again) (friend on dash properly scaled post-screenshot (5 to 4 inch surgery) )
I can't believe how much progress this car has made in a week.(˃ ⌑ ˂ഃ ) Keep trying! This will be a great mod!
I wonder how you gonna fit manual gear lewer, and it'd be cool to see that interior wirhout screen and buttons, with dash width lolwered. Also imo Wendover engine but turned longitunal would fit the era better Cool progress there, mate
gear levers are a pain because now they use silly jbeamed things and ive gotta sort it out. currently the manual nodes create instability, and the auto ones do nothing. remodelling the interior isnt really something i'm set up for, but i will look into making a 'poverty' edition, maybe for inline 4 models or something and you're right about the v8. wendover glossed over me. i just figured ford used the 302 for a long time with updates so it's what i tossed in there (also being that i had the model done already from the camaro mod, and such and such.) i will check out the wendover model for sure though. edit: after quick inspection of wendover v8, doesn't really fit the way i'd want without heavy modifying ( ie rad hose needs to be upfront but all the pulleys and other stuff get in the way. ) i might reuse some parts though like the intakes and head model/textures and some of the so-called "enginebay crap" but as it stands the barstow v8 is definitely the better fitting of the two. was worth a shot though but would need to be mostly remodelled.
i will give making a vert a try, but i'm going to be mostly focused on adding variants of the front fascia and a notch bodystyle for the time being once i finish up what i have now.
dw, take your time i have all the patience i can carry, i can even wait for years for this car to be finished and released.
plans are i4, i6, v6, and probably two variants of the v8 (something more modern to be added like bastion or grand marshal type)
