I’m so glad the steering wheel and door cards are rust free!

And that they ship nationwide, too! So now you don't have to let distance stop you from overpaying for a car!

Didn't even notice the miles. I assumed it was extremely low for that price (80k still would be overpriced with 0 miles imo), not 90k+. Whoever buys that doesn't deserve to have the 80kthey blew on that.

Im thinking of putting in headlight relays, anyone got some input for me about doing that? i would be in future looking to replace the sealed beams with a H4 conversion kit, of which i know definitely will require the relays. Would relays make much of a difference with the current sealed beams or should i wait and save a little coin for now and put in the relays when i get the H4s

Damn, I found an amazing AMC Ambassador, and it’s in good condition, is more or less affordable, and it’s only a few hours away from me!

AMC's seem like great cars. In fact, Tim O'Neil drives a modified AMC AMX because it is light, nimble, and fast.

If you can get past the ugly ass front and cheap ass plastics they seem to be good all round cars, knowing the mechanicals of those things they really shouldn't need much to keep up as everyday transportation. I know period magazines often heaped these into the same category as the Chrysler A body: Cheap, boring, spacious, economic, reliable and dependable family cars.

    $10,900.

It may be a little much, but I think it’d be worth it.

It'll be the best 10 grand you've spent. Classic econobox > new ev/ econobox

That is definitely not an econobox. The Ambassador was AMC's biggest car

It did get pretty good fuel mileage (compared to some other offerings of the era, not by today’s standards), so some may consider it one.
