Scratches and Scrapes on cars after you crash them would add more realism in the game. Examples would be like GTA 4 and GTA 5, they have realistic scratches on the cars if you were to crash into them but just a little suggestion I had. Also Sparks would also have a nice effect after a crash as well when the car skids onto cement and any sort of hard surface.
Please use the search function before you post something like this. For this specific topic, you'll find dozens, maybe hundreds of other threads, some of which have explanations as to why this isn't currently feasible.
Thu This is why I didn’t bother, there’s way too much threads to look at. Besides, it’s just a suggestion I wasn’t expecting them to actually add such a feature back.
If you saw that there are hundreds of other exactly the same threads then why did you post exactly the same thing as them???
the best that could be done is through deformgroups iirc (similar to how the glass breaking system works), but it doesn't work in a realistic or useful enough fashion that it should be implemented over not having them.
my favourite example had to be the guy who took advantage of the cracked glass mesh that appears and merged some spheres to it placed to the interior with no separate material so they appeared chrome that were meant to be "airbags," though.
This actually annoyed me so much I had to make an account to respond to one of these. You know why no one uses the search function? Because every thread that comes up says the same; "guhhh use the search feature!", this happens in literally every single forums website and it drives me insane, just answer the question or link the original post you apparently found while searching. Something like "This has been asked before in this threat: <link>". If you so can't be bothered to just link another thread why answer the thread at all?
