Since y'all just decided to say harsh shit about TikTok, I decided to make those go here. Also, please do not be extremely harsh, rude, and annoying. And please do not harass TikTok creators too. Just talk about why you hate TikTok and do whatever here I guess. HAPPY CHATTING!
Heavy TikTok users usually have no fulfilling mental world. They don't care about special things in life and only care about what is the most popular now. What they want to do is only to drift with the tide.
I personally don't think that dances are a problem of TikTok.Everybody can dance in the way they want and should not be disturbed(as long as it could be regard as a kind of dance). What really cause the problem are those who promote wrong knowledges and fake news. For example: Me:*Talking with my classmates One of them:Yo dude have you ever heard about a car named"Merdeces"? Me:What?Pardon? Him:Merdeces Me:That's Mercedes,Mercedes-Benz.And what's more,it isn't a single car,but a brand. (People in China call Mercedes-Benz "Benz" rather than "Mercedes".That's why he pronounced wrong despite there are many Mercedes cars on the road) He is a person who only use TikTok and other short video APPs.I guess it is somewhat wrong knowledges in a ramdom short video led him to the wrong pronounciation. Things like this in my daily life happens frequently.I could post some of them if you guys want to see.
A TikTok fake story in my memory: Around 2019 or 2020 there's a story about a young guy who wanted to show his love for a girl with his Cadillac spread widely on TikTok in China. He pushed his Cadillac to the speed of 263kph along the highway. That made him get a chance to overtake the high-speed railway train near him but sadly he got into a crash and being banned for road under the reason of speeding(2 times and even more of the speed limit of 120kph here on the highway). That girl, who he was loved, sank that Cadillac he once drove into a large fish tank in order to leave a remembrance. Not interesting at all, right?Because the story was completely fake. Let's compare 3 cars that appeared in the original video(I can only get some low-quality screenshots because the original video have already been forget by public): The first to appear is turned out to be a 2017 Cadillac ATS L with modified ATS-V style appreance, which is popular among Chinese tuners. In the video the Cadillac driver was really chasing after the train and also, pushed his car to 263kph.But actually this video was shot in 2018.The driver have no intention to show his love to anyone but only wanted to show his speed. Now here comes the second. The story went to his crash and then there's a photo of a battered car:a 2018 Cadillac XTS.From then on the story is not real anymore because EVEN THE FXXKING CAR HAS BEEN CHANGED Moreover,a 263kph crash?Only such a light damage? If it does happend that must be a miracle Lastly the video showed a picture of another Cadillac sank in a fish tank.As you could see when it comes to the last part of the story the cas has been turned into a 2017 Cadillac CT6 This CT6 was sank in the tank by guys from Shanghai GM.They wanted to show the airtightness of the CT6 to make a commericial promotion. They sank a brand-new CT6 into a fish tank then placed it to a display centre in Beijing for days, displaying it to the passsers-by This make-up story succeed in deceiving thousands of people who have no interest in car and only like things that they think are "romantic" but actually idiotic.I completely(don't know how many times I have used this word)cannot understand them.Don't they have any sense of distinguishment?
NOT GOOD AT ALL BECAUSE the whole story was made up for subs and likes lol moreover in my opinion(and most car guys' opinion) this story is totally a piece of shit and that guy who made up the story in the form of short video isn't a good storyteller.he even can't distinguish differences between ATS,XTS and CT6.This is a car-related story while that guy even couldn't do it more seriously on pictures' selection(As you can see, those 3 pictures are 3 different Cadillacs).I have no idea why the story itself spreaded so widely of course if there's something you couldn't understand, that might because of my poor English, sorry for that.
This year , me and my Friend were in a class of literal idiots : too much noise , lots of them doing things that made the WHOLE CLASS punished . And one main thing was the fact they jeep saying weird and stupid things . According to my Friend , it Comes from Tik tok . Damn
-What's your biggest fear? -The biggest fear?Well, learning that my favorite song is spreading like virus now on TikTok (I could make a list of the song I like being ruined by TikTok)
It isn't just TikTok, it is the availability of the internet and all devices which can host it. What scares me the most are the "Ipad kids", who are always glued to their tablets with social media or videogames. Some of these kids are only like 3 or 4, and are just rotting their brains on that coco melon thing. Another problem is that people don't feel the need to actually converse and connect with people in the real world, as they would rather text. This is why a lot of people are isolated, depressed, and often socially awkward, as they have very little in terms of social skills. Sure, we can keep trying to ban platforms such as TikTok, but then we would face the problem of "freedom of expression" or "freedom of speech" or something like that.
But... I have an iPad... I've always been an iPad kid from childhood. --- Post updated --- Biggest fear is seeing my favorite band lose its meaning through TikTok. Soon enough, shit might get out of hand.
I'd consider my younger self to be an Ipad kid too so don't beat yourself up. A better example would have been about how Fortnite took over back in 2017, and how it affected everyone around me who was my age. I remember being the odd one out for not playing it. Funnily enough, I'm still the odd one out for not having Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, or anything of the sort.
