Oh hell yea, this is gonna be great. quick general question, how did you make vehicle triggers? I'd like to make a quick fix on a mod, but cant find any tips or suggestions. cheers in advance.
I don't know which part of vehicle triggers you meant, but here's the whole process of how I do it just in case. If you know a thing or two about jbeam, then I'd say it's easy as it's mostly copy and paste from vanilla cars. So, you basically: You gotta have 2 nodes that have identical positions when you want the door/hood to be closed You paste the vanilla latch code into your part's jbeam You look for the nodeIDs, I think they're labelled "cid1" and "cid2", and replace them with the nodes in point 1 You basically replace the names in the pasted jbeam with your own ones, so for example the if you have a latch node named "q5r", then you put it into cid1 etc. Triggers work pretty much the same way as props when it comes to positioning, so you need to have a ref-node, an X-node and a Y-node When you're done replacing the nodes and names, the only thing that's left is tweaking the opening and closing forces and durations (ex. "openForceMagnitude") I'm not too good at teaching others but I hope this somewhat helps!
nope its developed by the soviets even tho its a fiat and its spanish since theres a car named SEAT 127 so half spanish and half soviet
the Seat 127, alongside the Soviet Onion variants are technically just rebadges, so the car itself is 100% italian
1.0L and 1.5L engine models are done, and the gearbox aswell! And with that all of the engine engine models are done!
Hey uh, kinda forgot to say this, I'm putting the mod on hold for now as I'm working on my entry for the modding challenge. Don't worry, this doesn't mean it's cancelled or anything, just that there won't be much new progress for the next two weeks or so.
