My man he’s just asking people to ask permission of him before going and making something for a mod of his, and I completely understand it. It’s something that just about every mod maker expects, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Personally I’d do it to ensure that whatever mod is made fits at least somewhat into whatever lore I’ve set up for my mod and so that I can ensure the mod is of reasonable quality and, if not, potentially help them improve that quality.
While things like ensuring quality make sense, the idea of just rejecting a mod idea not because of lore or quality but simply because 'i dont like V10 engine swap' is admittedly a little petty Im not continually bringing it up, im just trying to talk to you and understand why you are simply so against someone making a mod for your mod

Following the chain of messages between you and him, I can’t find anywhere that he specifically forbid the making of that mod, he just said that he could say he didn’t want it made and that he’d like permission to be asked of him. Also sure it would definitely be petty but in the end it is his mod.

Im not even trying to be rude it just seems a little unreasonable that he would be so against someone making a mod for his mod I honestly just kinda wanted to know what his justification was and he continually kept dodging the question. If he doesn't want someone to make a V10 towing configuration on their own then thats his opinion and its fine but if your going to actively try to stop people from doing it then maybe there needs to be a little more justification than 'no V10' It's not like I'm asking for your social insurance number man I'm just asking why you don't want someone to make a V10 for your mod. I'm honestly not trying to be a dick I just feel if you want people to actually listen to you and not make a V10 mod for your mod they need a better reason than you simply saying 'I don't like V10 towing configs'. Like if you wanna say 'oh the lore won't work' or 'oh I plan to add it later down the line so it would be pointless to do so now' would make people stop and say 'yeah ok that makes sense why he wouldn't want a V10 mod for it' but simply saying 'no I don't want it' will just make people think your being unreasonable. Not trying to villainize or bug you just asking for some of the reasoning behind the decision thats all.
im not being a dick, you are just constantly fucking asking about it when ive already answered so why not just get the fuck over it dude holy fucking shit just drop it god damn --- Post updated --- like y'all pissing me off now, just take no for an answer. i dont want a diesel v10 on my mod, it makes zero fucking sense and i'd of said i was cool with it if i was, but im not so guess what? you can either just listen to what i've said or go about continuing to do it even though i've said not to, or atleast ask first, and keep it to yourself and dont be giving it out to people.
