A mild correction. The TPI was available in 1985 alongside TBI and a 4 barrel carb. I have a 1986 Trans Am with factory TPI.
Will the 2.8 V6 get its own 5 speed? The overdrive on the Z28 transmission is ridiculously long for such a small engine
I saw some time ago that you posted a update for the V6, so I left anything involving the V6 alone,I didn’t want to seem that I was talking over your part of the project. But if it’s okay with you, I can start working on it right away.
It's fine by me lol, I do want to be the sound editor and keep my custom sounds as part of the mod (even though I should probably ask Akemi lmao)
Well, sounds like I need to grab a coffee and get to work then. I’ll get the i4s as well since I’m going at it, then swap the Jbeam around when we get the models for them.
I apologize that all of the configs are going to need their ride heights redone, but after learning what all the components are and using a single nodeMove, the front suspension matches the rear! I'm still trying to figure other things out too, so yeah I'll upload the file at a later date lol
Well, here's all I can think of that I'm able to do at the moment. All I really did was adjust the torque converter stall and fix the front suspension, along with some little engine sound tweaks here and there. I also added a "sport" exhaust option if people want something a bit louder than stock, but not too loud EDIT: stock exhaust was a bit quiet, made it a tiny bit louder lol
I can't model for crap, but here's a couple of suggestions: -non IROC front grille -early model taillights -black doorhandles -(again) non-GFX parts
The car itself or a certain part? --- Post updated --- I've finally figured it out, I can move engines around in game! ill be posting more progres soon.
got the Bastion V6 in. it looks pretty good from the top but... its engine and transmission hangs very low to the ground, like jump a curb your oil pan is gone low. I'm not sure if this would work, but the Bastion is the only one that carries a longitudinal V6 engine. so I'm not entirely sure what to do here.
