Option one; I never opened my mouth, I'm not so sure whether you scream at your screen or not but I don't I type.
Option two; Shouldn't be too hard.

Ripping Gabester's designs and names, Your almost as bad as GM.
I also accept criticism, Unlike you.
Here I made a design, It is of your quality aswell.

The second one is what the taillights will look like. I didn't draw the front end but go a few pages back and you'll see it.

This will be my longest post

@Whiteknight you took everything wrong, they are not a rip-off. It may look a rip-off to you but in my opinion, if there is a resemblance its coincidental.

Now let me explain every single thing. The name of my car Moonwell is not a rip-off from gabester's car. I named my car Moonwell a long time ago even before gabester built his Moonhawk. The name Moonwell comes from Warcraft 3, (WHAT THE HELL IS IT?) its a well that replenishes your mana/health. If you took the time to research the meaning you wouldn't be that ignorant right?

Now with the car, yes i said to gabester i am taking inspiration from the Moonhawk, i was taking inspiration from the body lines. Now people say the fascia is the resemblance of the Moonhawk, now lets see.

    Moon 62.png 189.jpg

I agree, it has a tiny resemblance of the Moonhawk but that doesn't mean i ripped off his Moonhawk design its like you love Gabester so much that you don't want anyone to have a resemblance of any of his designs.

Oh, btw. I love your truck design. Here are one of my designs.
    IMG_20141016_181917159.jpg
    MX-ZR 13 concept.

So don't be ignorant next time.

Call me narcissistic or egotistical, but my car looks better than yours so I guess that means I'm entitled to criticise you. Your words, not mine.

Every point you brought up can be easily refuted; simply stating that you did something first doesn't prove your work developed independently of other people's work, including naming and design. The two cars that look suspiciously similar that also happen to carry almost identical names have "a tiny resemblance" to each other? Come on, you're taking the piss, surely.

Like the Moonhawk, the Moonwell is a 1960-1970s American car.
Like the Moonhawk, the Moonwell takes subtle stylistic cues from contemporary GM cars.
Like the Moonhawk, the Moonwell's grille is split in two vertically at the centre, then horizontally.
Like the Moonhawk, the Moonwell's badging is located in a narrow cutout portion in the centre of the grille.
Like the Moonhawk, the Moonwell has particular arcing character lines along the side, which you admitted taking from the Moonhawk.
Like the Moonhawk, the Moonwell's boot/trunk curves downward at an outrageous, yet aesthetically pleasing angle.
Like the Moonhawk, the Moonwell's front fascia bulges out at the centre.
Like the Moonhawk, the Moonwell has twin headlights stacked vertically more or less inline with the grille.
Like the Moonhawk, the Moonwell has a scalloped out section running between the wheels, under the door.
Like the Moonhawk, the Moonwell's name is created by appending a four-letter noun to 'moon'. Naming a car after something from Warcraft is a bit odd, imo. Why not something clever that parodies a real world manufacturer and is tongue-in-cheek patriotic like Eisenhower Cavalry or the million, billion other name combinations out there? Dumb luck just doesn't seem likely here.

Furthermore, the naïvety in your other designs (Prostreet, MX-ZR cars) makes the Moonwell's design seem overly sophisticated for someone of your ability, and I mean that with as little offense as possible.

It's been bothering me for a while, but I didn't want to say anything out of politeness and keeping the peace on the forums. The smartassery in your post ticked me off enough to make me type this up so yeah. Hopefully at least one person agrees with me here.

You've just said what I was thinking. I didn't post it because I can't be so polite about it.

Nice design, it shows a lot of potential. :)

Do you have a design for the headlights yet? (aside from the shape)

This is like Apple sueing Samsung for rounded corners. Seriously, the Moonhawk is properly inspired by some realworld car. Boohoooo gabester how dare you to copy / get inspired by a design someone else made. :(

Also remember: Apple didn't made the first tablets. They just made tablets popular so everyone thought Apple made them first.
And a not so Apple comparision: Benz and Daimler indepently developed the first gasoline powered road vehicles at the same time without each knowing.

It's not like Pontiac is making money out of his model, it's his free time and free work.

Looks like it should violate apples "patent" right? Shown off before the iPad. JooJoo, intel atom, choice of ubuntu or win7. Tablets have been around for a few decades.

Plus the samsung design style also predates the iPhone unveil...

    Re: DEVELOPMENT SCREENS

Well I, for one, am offended! I work hard to keep my posts relevant, and what do people do? Pay them no mind that is! I can't believe this nonsense! I work hard, all day I might add, typing my posts and ensuring they're of the up-most relevance. How am I repaid? With nothing! That's just it!! I've never experienced such negligence! GOOD DAY SIR!!

    No, I'm just kidding. ;)

To keep this post fairly on topic, nice concept BlueScreen. The headlights will looks nice. :)

(or maybe this post was an excuse to compliment your design... )

Back on topic so I can bash my head, I cannot get anything modeled right on this motor, Everything clips... If I change anything then it won't really be a GM 454...

Thinking of giving up on the nova project.
