guys 0.30 is aparrently supposed to be huge --- Post updated --- im gonna play career as soon as i can
i just watched the lansdale video and oh my! its better then i ever could imagine! i love the facelift with the different headlights! i found it odd that one of them has the grill of a oldsmobile silhouette but hey it dosent look that bad, and that last one in the video looks like a complete mix of oldsmobile, freestar and of course, town and country/voyager i also love the taxi config!
I would much rather have 1 update focused on a T-Series remaster, it's way more outdated. That kind of update could also bring a lot of new tech under the hood, like truck specific transmission stuff and a finished hydraulic pump system, so it would kinda make sense for 0.30 to be it.
One thing i noticed hasn't been mentioned yet, the updated tire sounds when handbrake turning and skidding in general my god devs take a bow such a big leap upgrade i love it!!!! I also handbrake turned on a rough road and the tire burst this was really cool as the rim did take abit too but damn the sounds are so so much better right now!!! insane upgrade, i know it may be a small detail but wow do i cherish it!!
hmm the addition of a tractor wheel, wonder if a tractor will be added in the future, who knows might be a long shot,
ngl this update is kinda small. i'd wish for them to release tire thermals in 0.30, but based off what tdev said, its likely not coming in 0.30
Remember Bruckell Starwind? Devs doing vehicles after they identical mods release; Like even Wagon LeGran; It actually looks same as the Soliad Lansdale!
Bruckell Starwind was simply a rebadged Ford Windstar. Though it's been unavailible for some time now, not sure why.
Don't know if anyone mentioned it yet but it REALLY looks like a Chevy Venture with weirder proportions
0.30 could either be huge or disappointing but considering the last 2 updates were relatively small the devs could really be cooking.
Took my time with the update: it's awesome, as always! Wasn't expecting the Portapigeon to be called the "Poogeon" though, I was only joking and having a laugh! Big love to the devs!
would be interesting to see --- Post updated --- think the new van is based off a chrysler voyagerprobably also based off others but idk
Soo... With a bit of parts mishmashing I managed to make a decent reproduction of that thing. And I love it
judging by the new and unseen sounds i think they are. who knows, but i can tell you that career mode is a long way away still. The ability to look at the whole map GTA style is good, but car value system that you can see in the description and sats of each config of any model is a bit odd, as well as the fact that saving and loading damage on a car using the radial menu (could be used for making used cars more "beat up" using dev-made damage presets/making sure that a crash you had once has a permanent effect on the car) still works even after not using the game, it now makes all cars' latches permenantly un-closeable. What I can see is that around the release of the bastioj the devs have been focusing on more of a "do what's needed" type thing, and going back to the thing where an update meant a new vehicle and maybe some other things, so it is a focus.
