Yes --- Post updated --- What if they make a big tech update, tire thermals, tire tracks, ropeables, 1 or 2 refreshes, better environment sounds. That would be much better than heavy machinery and such
different things for different purpose. wont be "better" just different experience overall and expect a lot of complaining with the former.
.30 "under the hood" updates to stuff like transmission logic and engine simulation and other major under hood things
yea, definitely gonna have people saying "I dont like X", and what if Tire Thermals make half the drifters lose their grip and whatnot, who knows? haha something somewhere, somebody is gonna say these.. haha but with that said, I would like more stuff, so whatever comes, ill be happy
well ofc, any update will make someone complain, no doubt about that. --- Post updated --- looks at shift behavior changes
Yes, at the end of the update changelog, it says: " the team continues pushing the pedal to the metal behind the scenes to ensure that the next update includes several major improvements and new features." So 0.30 should include several major improvements and new features.
im gonna torture myself and not see a teaser for 3 months and be completely surprised by the new update
Honestly I feel like if the game just stopped outright while the UI was open it would remove alot of the UI issues. The game is having to run all of the backround simulations ontop of loading the UI and all of the processes related to it. By simply forcing the game in the background to stop doing stuff it would allow the UI to have more space to breathe. As far as I can tell the game not pausing because the UI is open is just carried from the original versions of the game where the UI was just a popup window in the left side of the screen that took up less than a tenth of the screen, meaning it made sense the game wouldn't stop outright, nowadays since the UI is far more complex and utilizes the whole screen, it would be more logical to have it stop the game while it was opened.
I think it would be a better use of just to redo the entire ui, maybe even vehicle customization or the vehicle selector
That just sounds like a band-aid for the UI situation. Everything UI wise to me feels clunky and slow, and has been for the past 5 years. Might as well revamp it and make it feel like a pleasant experience to use.
heres the thing, they just did. yes I agree the vehicle selector feels a tad sluggish, as those that have mentioned before, I think yes, it would be nice to shift all that performance to ui (pausing the game's physics etc involuntarily), would be of great help.
