It must be more fun to drive than it looks I’d assume (since on photos it just looks like a normal facelift SBR). Can’t wait!
With @Javascript_ 's lettering help, I could finally finish up the mod and I will release the mod tmr on the repo. Alright which one of the configs is your favorite btw? --- Post updated --- https://www.beamng.com/resources/hirochi-sunstorm.27684/ Mod will go in public when the mods approve it!
@Car_Killer If you are approving the Hirochi Sunstorm repo release please do link this discussion thread too with the repo.
Honestly I think the orange color with those specific wheels are just... *chefs kiss* The one with red on black also looks good though.
The V10s I design them and model their performance and looks similar to the Audi R8 and the V8s are similar to the Chevy Corvettes (C6-C8) for the color combination.
Because someone said that the V8 "looked gray", I would like to mention that viewing the V8 engine from outside might appear gray, here it is without the engine bay lid distorting some of its looks. The whole Bastion heads and bolide block always looked gray tho.
This is a very fun mod, especially the v10. But it also shows completely gray with no details and no texture on the bottom with the v10 aswell.
Strange since I have never used vivace textures on either the SBR4 or the Bolide especially after 0.29. Try go to the vehicles folder in the sbr4 sunstorm engines and copy the vivace's main materials engine from "stages". This should help.
So I had tried that, and it didn't work. Upon digging into it, there isn't really a materials.json file for any of the engines. If I first spawn in the Bolide, then it fixes the texture issue on the engine when I spawn the Sunstorm after. You would need to put in the image files for the engine and transfercase into the mod folder and make a materials.json file that links it to the 3d model in order to fix the textures.
Did you install the 3 KLJP mods? They are required mods. --- Post updated --- So basically for any non SBR4 models (say Bolide engine models or vivace engine models or Scintilla transfercase model) I will have to copy the image files into the folders and the material.json as well for each folder? Update: I have done porting the hybrid parts as well as modified the battery to prevent the major mesh clipping.
Hmm seems like there's jbeam problem on your side since I made sure there's no major jbeam issues before the first relese.
Basically yeah. But you can just trim out all the unnecessary crap in each materials.json folder, and only keep the ones pertaining to the engines to save space. Also, make sure to modify the paths in the materials.json file so that it directs to the images
If the model is part of the common folder (say a Bastion engine part or the Boxer engine part or ETK engine or Scintilla Gavril part), I don't have to do that part unlike something like the Bolide right?
