Imo meshslaps are okay as long as the nodes are generally adjusted to the model, meaning the physics would be realistic enough to pull off.
I don't hate meshslaps, but I hate those who show off their meshslaps and rely on them to gain flattery.
People who don't like or care about anime but still go to the anime convention for fun. These days in my country,this kind of behaviour seems have become a trend.Groups of people who had never been into the ACG culture come to the anime convention,that seems to be weird.Not only they are weird but also ruin the atomsphere of the anime convention. I have not been to any anime convention for almost 4 years.On July 22 I went to a local anime convention as a return,while the atomsphere was completely different.In the past,anime weebs are a group of people who are modest and discreet.But now?When ACG culture become a trend,some so-called anime weebs gradually having exaggerated opinions of their abilities despite they are only new to the anime,comic and galgame. Anyway,this kind of people ultimately ruined things I love.Screw them.

I hate the word 'weeb', makes me cringe every time I say it or hear someone say it. Which isn't great considering I could be considered one (I'm honestly not, I just have a few anime I really like. Although, I am slowly building a collection of cute figures, wall scrolls, dakimakuras and art books. Or a "shit ton of stuff and shit" as you put it.) And, apparently this is a common sentiment but, I don't like MuYe either.
The paid mods on these forums, speccialy lj and Lucas be ones are deserving of money (not that others aren't) The ones that don't get enough hate is the shitty meshslaps that sell for 2 or 3x the price of proper paid mods and have 10x less quality

That's certainly quite the comparison, got a laugh out of me there. 'Free mods = hassle, no compensation & many downloads' vs 'Paid mods = hassle, monetary compensation & less downloads' (as a rough understanding) It would be more similar to a chef opting to use cheaper ingredients that only taste slightly worse - only a few people will notice so he won't lose many customers but will save more money in expenses over time.
