Performance testing on lower hardware specs ahead of early access release. Tested it on my laptop: - Intel Core i7 11800H - 16 Gigs of RAM - Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU - Windows 11 Ultra settings at 1920 x 1080...between 40 and 60 FPS during the big jump. Runs better than Johnson Valley at the same settings.
That’s good to know. As a guy with 40 FPS on low, it is quite important if something is optimized, so thanks!
What are your hardware specs? I use lots of LOD meshes and "nulldetail" in my map, especially for small objects like fire extinguishers, toilets, tables, etc. This means these objects are only rendered when the player is near them. I am doing everything to improve the performance.
With about 50-60 FPS on Johnson Valley on Low Settings, it's fine also. I'm below the minimal specs for the game: - Intel i5-4590 - 8GB of RAM - NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030
imma go with skeleton? maybe luge or bobsled. possibly freestyle halfpipe but that pipe looks a lil small for that.
Some questions: Will the car helicopter 'work'? Or are players simply going to have to teleport their vehicles up to the top? Is the resturant going to be accessible from parking the car to walking, or will that be something that has to be teleported to? One of the really distinct charms of the original CJA was that every point on the map was reasonably accessible from any other point on the map using only roads. Even though the drive could be quite far, it made the map much more fun to play on just from a details perspective
Hey there The helicopter "works". You need to drive into the container that is in the paddock... Then the car will be teleported to the top of the ramp and you will be still inside the container. Go out and have fun... The restaurant works similarly. You park your car at the entrance... Then go to the elevator. The elevator "teleports" you to the restaurant platform. You can walk around and explore the tower. After that, you can go back to the elevator and return to the ground. The entire map is an open world. You can drive or walk anywhere from any point you spawn.
Is it still looking good for a paid early access during september or do you think you should put more time in it? Can't wait to try this out!
It would be fun to have a circuit that goes around the map and the attractions. And is it the lights that seems to change the colors of the circuit, or is it an ice circuit?
