i think the first line means "hang on a minute, this has door handles from the 200bx" no clue abt the second one
he's saying: wait a minute, this has the 200bx door handles i saw this on discord, it looks nice a developer of this 6 year old mod is remastering it, but i think it looks more than 20 years old
I mean it's been it progress for a month.... in the grand scheme of scratch modelling/modding beamng thats really not a long time.
Don't really want to bump this thread, but are you going to cancel this because of the 94' miramar thats being made for kjlp? (edit: because of the people misinterpreting what I said as "he should cancel this"; I didn't say he should cancel it, I just asked whether he was)
Yea, they are similiar (cause they are both r32), but lore wise and model wise are completely different.
Yeah def won't be cancelling this (same goes for my other WIPs), just have less time/motivation BeamNG wise in recent months The other day I figured I should finally do some jbeam work, starting with the rear suspension I found an interesting thing, the 3D model of the 200BX rear suspension (of which the Sunrise uses in terms of geometry) is quite different geometry wise to the actual jbeam, resulting in some odd suspension animations I figured I would fix this by just moving the suspension pivot points to match the 3d model exactly, this resulted in a geometry that naturally collapses under any kind of load So instead I did the opposite, and moved/rotated the suspension arms a bit so that they match the jbeam exactly, resulting in correct movememt of the meshes
Often times mod makers will forget to upload progress on the forums. This is the case for many mods that are also showcased in the discord. So yes he’s right to mention it. It has happened that a mod was recieving constant updates through the discord but not on the forums, so forums users thought the mod was on hold
Maybe someone will make a USDM conversion mod... Just look at the USDM mods for the Centauri and Claria. Those cars in their lore never had USDM versions but the modder behind the USDM mods made parts that equipped them for the US market
