Is it only me or does it drive weird? So far I've roamed around a bit in the red sport variant, and it drifts way too well for what I expected a stock config to be. I'd even say that with drift steering it is more enjoyable than the drift config itself.
it may handle a bit too well because of the bx chassis. the drift config is meant for higher speed drifting, on like circuits so it does feel a bit odd at lower speeds. v8 sport or street drift definitely handle better throughout a tighter area like WCUSA though. at least in my experience, but i'm on keyboard.
the only problem ive experienced so far is that some car parts dont have double-side material, like this one it looks invisible from the rear side
Oh, that explains a lot. An American S-chassis, nice. Though I'd still like to see some de-tuning in the future, less perfect handling gives this character and personality many talk about. Spoiler Where rick roll.
Thank you, Akemi, for releasing this mod! It's very nice, and it has good handling and deformation. I like it! It was worth the wait. Only one thing I noticed is that the facelift configurations don't seem to have the correct production years (they should be 1987-1991), and the values are unrealistic. For reference, the inline-6 base notchback model should cost around $3,000-$4,000 at least, not $30.
it is good, but there are a few bugs, such as i think you forgot to add outside door handle button thingys because you have them on the inside, also the doors dont open properly like they unlatch but they open about 2 millimeters and thats it. also you can rip off the bit that the wipers attach to, not sure if its intentional or not though. the file size is also pretty big. otherwise its a great mod
Needs a solid axle. That being said I am enjoying this quite a bit. Definitely going to be making a small police pack for this down the road.
love the mod! looks great so far, i've been watching this mod being made for a while, im glad its out love the toms refurb sticker
Just due to the nature of value sorting. It gets really messy with proper "values" and they sort out the order list, so i just spaced them by 10 to give me room to shuffle things and throw configs between and move things over without ruining everything. Might fix the stats though.
That’s certainly an interesting way to do that. Pretty smart too. For my only really mod with a lot of configs, I just put prices that felt somewhat realistic to the rest of the car (Since it’s for existing cars)
I really like it. Although, all exterior lights are pretty dim, they all could benefit from bloom. The doors have no exterior trigger to open them, and opening them from the inside doesn’t open them, they seem to get stuck. And the left rear turn signal lights up the right rear turn signal, too. Other than that, it’s great.
Appreciate the feedback from all the reviews. Next update will mostly just be touch ups, and then optimization. I'm not exactly sure, but i think i could chop the filesize in half given all works out. probably gonna aim for sub 250mb just to set my goals a little safe
why not use the legran dashboard for base models? also maybe yank the axle out of the moonhawk/barstow later down the road?
Loving the mod so far. Though the doors don't open properly and the game doesn't consider the highway patrol configs police cars so they don't chase me in traffic mode.
