Jbeams, axles, weightages, tires not popping is 95% of the work. Rest is modelling and texturization. I'm not sure how fond you are of making heavy multi axle things but this is a record.
I'm not really fond of modding in general sometimes, lol. Props on your work though. It wasn't meant as any kind of criticism towards your work, I just don't think something should be labelled completed if it's not actually completed.
All good. BeamNG is incredibly complicated when tweaking tires and working with various weights. All these physical things you see like the column and trailer are kids work. The real challenge is in making sure the ting is actually 1500 tonnes in game without exploding frames or exploding tires. Your suspension, axles, wheels, tires all have to be in sync. Cars are WAY easier than these things to work with as your drama is limited to 4 wheels and barely any weight. Which is why you rarely see heavy equipment/special vehicles come out. The clever modders already gave up on this stuff and just limit themselves to cars. But I can handle a challenge.
1500 TONNES??? GYATT. The heaviest thing I've hauled in BeamNG was about 110 tonnes lmao. Exactly what you said, props on you for making the tires not explode over the weight... The physics are really funky.
I will most likely be making a custom MAN TGS EURO heavy haul version one-off just for this. Special tires, ballast, weight, grill, etc. Mammoet trucks are my inspiration. The Rolex of heavy lifting services.
