Perhaps it has something to do with Saleen's poor management after the economic crisis. This S1 may play a propaganda role, and also to prove to people that Saleen is still dabbling in new technologies.Later, it was acquired by some dirty deceivers... Perhaps this is also part of the reason. But I'm glad this is a thing of the past. I hope Saleen can take its own road in the future and rebuild its previous glory independently
Long story short,after Saleen’s first bankrupt then being sold by the company founder,the Wang take the company and bought another two companies which produce low-end electric car,then this retard decided to rebadged those old electric cars and silt them as a higher price(even without any equipment upgrade LMAO,then still thought it was a good idea to have a promotion in 2017) And with the 6.6Billon of RMB which Wang cheated,he successfully ran back to America But anyway,off topic,shall we stop talking about Saleen in reality now?
I literally was hoping you'd make this (mainly because i saw it in your profile once) and its also basically the only supercar i like, so this is awesome
I mean, getting some proper Saleen lore was pretty interesting, I might tell some of it in the config descriptions of the mod. Also just great to know in general
@SSRG @SHΛW I agree, no need to be rude. It's spelt Sapphire. (I remember the Sierra Sapphire being launched in 1987 & we owned one from 1991 to 1995.)
The name is somewhat intentional, so that it is simply shorter. Initially it was a typo however, I have been notified of it a while ago as well. I am still unsure about changing it
Not exactly but similar era. The Sapphire was the 4-door. The Sapphire Cosworth came out in Feb 1988, gaining 4wd with the widespread major facelift Jan 1990. Ask me another lol. Looks like a good mod that RS500.
