I think that the AMD FX-8350 Vishera is pretty damn good, it has eight cores and it's 4.0 GHz. It would slice through BeamNG like a piece.

For gaming AMD has nothing to do against Intel.

Yes, I know that, but it's better than the processor Thatguy5480 is getting.

    THIS.
The intel im getting can run Battlefield 3 and Skyrim both at MAXED OUT settings at 60+ fps no problem

AMD is more for budget builds but they are still a good chip, Ive seen them get battlefield 3 over 100 fps...

    Update on my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1liOm

And NO mano, the 8350 is not better than the 3570: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-3570K-vs-AMD-FX-8350

currently yes. I guess it's because games don't use all eight cores, the new consoles will probably change that. Yes, intel has much better per-core performance but I guess that AMD could do well in beamNG.

Synthetically the FX-8350 is better than the 3570. The 8350 is also cheaper but consumes more power but I don't think you will notice a difference in gaming in these two CPUs as it's the GPU that will really define how a game runs.

That depends on a lot of things, GPU, resolution, game, etc. Of course if you are playing at 4k resolution, the difference between the 2 CPUs can be nonexistent.

You are right and from what I've seen the 8350 tends to do better at synthetic benchmarks like Cinebench but the 3470 is better at real world gaming due to it's better performance per core. Also I find the Intel motherboards to be better quality-wise.

Benchmarks are very relative. Just google "Benchmark cheat" or "benchmrk hoax". Intel has the latest benchmark hoax by manipulating the results of 3DVantage
