the car turns on but only when you push start it, the starter doesnt work, also i suspect it turns slightly to the right as i'm almost always turning to the left on the wheel
You have to turn the ignition on and then you crank it, hold it for a few seconds, the starter takes some time to do it's thing.
On older versions the starter doesnt work correctly. Are You sure you have the newest Version (named s1203_6_22_23)?
i do think i have the latest version, as i downloaded the one on the main page, only if i downloaded an old version somehow edit: yep, i downloaded an old version, as i clicked on the drive link to download the mod and didnt see the updated download was on the bottom of the main post and not on the drive link, so thank yall for trying to help (poirot and sixteen guns)
Oh ok, but I still figured out how to avoid turning off the engine while driving. Go to Vehicle Config, then in search bar type Engines, change the engine to Super Powerful Engine and your engine will no longer turn off while driving + your car speed will increase during the driving.
first of all, the engine doesnt turn off, beamng thinks it does but you can just rev it up, the idle of the car is just too low, also changing the engine to a super powerful one wont help because it isnt stock anymore lmao
I don't know if this mod is still being developed further, but in case it is: I noticed that on the flatbed version the old body style (without the steps and with the little visor over the windshield) isn't available, although in earlier screenshots in this thread it was. Would it be possible to make that body style available for the flatbed? I would like to drive a really early model
there's not a config for it, you have to add it manually. if you want you can save a custom config with the cover on it though
Because no matter how hard I tried I never managed to get that roof look decent. Yet a tarp roof like that is a pretty common accessory to see in videogames - Mafia, GTA, Crysis...
