Hopefully vulkan surprises us I certainly dont feel like the game runs as good as it should on my system
seeing how Vulkan ran on my computer, its still got a long way to go before it can be considered good enough to be primary
It was a skin pack for the ETK-K series I believe, it had sponsor logos all over the car which referenced names of nsfw furry websites, not cool, not cool at all.
He means when you fall in water while your engine can cook eggs, the water cools down the hot engine instantly. sometimes when you stop and dont move the engine cools down on itself too, another thing that could happen is that when temperature gauge is close to the top, and the little icon turns red, but even when you dont gas it, it will still go up on it's own, even if you turn off the engine. i think its bug or something, since it happens very rarely. but sometimes, in some cars, witch is pretty often surprisingly, when the temperature gauge is a it's very top, even when you stop or turn off the engine, it would still remain hot and wont cool down, and you have to dip the car in water, or reset it; OR kill the engine
This is intentional behavior. It doesn't depend on the car but rather on the amount of time it spent overheating. Too high temperature causes coolant to escape the cooling system in the form of steam, and with less coolant it becomes much harder to keep the engine temperature at a safe level. With not enough coolant present in the system, leaving the engine at idle or turning it off will at best keep the temperature constant, the radiator has no way of cooling it down at a low coolant level. Resetting the car refills the coolant to the full level again.
It's already in-game. If you drive into any body of water with a hot engine and pay close attention to the engine thermals app, you will notice that the temperatures actually go down. A good example of this is in Failrace's series Driven Till Destruction
It was a pretty sickening apparently, even though they were good quality. I don't know who could possibly post something like that and think it was perfectly OK. Definitely not cool, I'm glad I reported it when I could. In terms of speculation, seeing the new vehicle's livery and new colour matched wheels makes me hopeful that it will have nice useable and not at all headache-inducing UV maps.
I know, I'm almost 7 years into this sim. I'm just talking about the aggressive engine cooling down sounds heard during an abrupt temperature drop, that's what Speednsnake referred to and that's what I answered to as well!
Maybe they are taking a break. this sometimes happens. no mods get approved for a fairly long time, (like ~1 to ~3 days) and then a bunch of mods suddenly come to repo or get updated on there. (also, it's not been that long, it's been only about a day, witch is pretty usual in this case.)
