Update Speculation thread

Leeloo tried to save our time by confirming there will be a teaser, but now people don't believe it so several pages gonna be wasted anyway

OMG so much new teasers this week I LOVE it

 

No we aren't getting one today.

 

I doubt this is going to be a large update; I imagine anything big they're working on will be scheduled for the holiday update. The buggy, maybe 2 gooseneck trailers, and whatever they were referencing in the last dev blog probably will be the bulk of this update.

 

We were promised several new major features and several major improvements, in my understanding it is not less than three, what we were shown: new transport, trailer, improved gearbox and new sounds, sounds can be considered for improvements but not major! The gearbox will do for a good improvement, the trailer and transportation does not fall under the new feature not under the improvements, so the developers have something to surprise us, it is at least 3 features and 2 more improvements,


By the way in the teaser today will be a trailer)

don't think we'd be getting it, seeing how Beam tends to run like shit on typical hardware, it would take a lot of optimization before we can think about it

there's probably a way of adding experimental support, but a full on proper one would be kind of hard
