Update Speculation thread

I personally don't think there's any correlation between the two, most likely just a good way of showing off the SXS and a new map addition coming in the update within the same teaser

At the end of the day Hirochi is just a representation of the Japanese industrial conglomerates in general and is expected to have aspects from multiple of the IRL counterparts.

 

Putting bets on West Coast. All trees in Industrial ARE deciduous. WC has plenty of pine, pumps, and industrialization.

 

Yamaha make pianos and smaller motorised vehicles.
Subaru make boxer engines.

Subaru are 20% owned by Toyota, whose luxury brand is Lexus, whose 2012 halo car (the Lexus LFA) had it's engine made in collaboration with Yamaha.
Thus in a round about sort of way Subaru and Yamaha are linked, they also have ties to Nissan.
Hirochi is a combination of all of the above.

I'm putting bets on a new map entirely. Something smaller than WCUSA but larger than Derby Arenas.

 

The island in WCUSA is WAY further away, which is why i thought of a man-made island/port expansion

Your really an og! I only started watching around the forums in august last year but finally made an account a few months later. Prior to that I never used the forums because they were so hard to use + the search function was horrible. I can’t believe the forums hasn’t changed a single bit in over 7 years…

 

I also discovered the forums just about 1 year ago I think but now I am very active (I don’t post as much as others on here but I read everything) Oh and I’m still awake because I’m in Ecuador on vacation right now xD

From the teaser it looks like we're getting an West coast USA remaster, with a bit more touches to the industrial area, I'm pretty sure like some youtubers said, 0.30 will be the utility update.

Also is hard to live on some islands off the Californian coast since I always get replies when I'm asleep lol

 

so i edited the latest teaser we got as much as i could, and my i say that is a pretty sky, also im very convinced this is a wcusa remaster just from what the hills in the background look like and since it already has alot of oil rigs around, this could be a giant oil industry that could use alot of BIG MACHINERY like cranes and such and who knows maybe a t series remaster

 

Yeah but if we are getting a new map/map remaster, a new trailer,and a new vehicle, I don't know how likely a t-series remaster is either. yes I know 0.27 exists.

 

Imagine if the update drops tomorrow

 

That would be awesome. The car does look mostly finished (not rushing you, devs)
