As i like mechanical parts in general, i see a lot of flaws on the engines of beam cars. i wanted to point out some of them here:

(also feel free to add your own mechanical related problems in the comments, i just did engines since i dont really know suspension and transmissions very much)

    Piccolina (Autobuggy)

the belt is gonna get very toasty and melt
    upload_2023-9-23_15-25-26.png
no oil line to the turbo
    upload_2023-9-23_15-26-7.png

    Bastion:
the v6 engine is missing the coil packs, the v8 does have them
    upload_2023-9-23_14-2-15.png
I would assume that modern cars have header heat shields speccialy because there is heat shieleding in the underbody
    upload_2023-9-23_14-3-8.png
    upload_2023-9-23_14-4-3.png

    Legran & Landsale & Wendover
in the v engines and speccialy the inline engines there is some wiring and tubing thats way too close to the headers, this would most likely melt away with time
    upload_2023-9-23_14-5-55.png
    upload_2023-9-23_14-6-43.png
the landsale 2.5td has a turbo from the autobuggy (even if its supposed to be stock it looks aftermarket) and the devs seem to have flipped the turbo so the cold side would get exhaust air (and thereforce melt), this could be fixed by flipping the turbo 180ยบ in the z axis, and then adjusting a few parts, i did that myself and it took me 3 minutes
    upload_2023-9-23_14-10-56.png
apart from the tubing being super small in the intake, since this intake has been taken from the normal gas engines, they have not removed what looks like the throttle body, diesel cars are regulated by fuel not air, so this would not be there

    Moonhawk

the base v8 has some wiring that goes to nowhere, and its also awfully close to the header, i havent tested all other engiens tho
    upload_2023-9-23_14-13-11.png
the radtube has some ugly clipping too
    upload_2023-9-23_14-14-17.png
    Burnside special
even if all other cars have the new classic v8 model and textures, this one is missing pbr and the new models
    upload_2023-9-23_14-15-22.png

    Bolide

even if the pulleys and belt are modeled, they do not spin
    upload_2023-9-23_14-17-11.png

It also seems to be missing fuel rails
    upload_2023-9-23_14-17-59.png

    Stincilla

same as the bolide, the pulleys dont spin and there are no fuel rails (this could be just direct injection, but i dont know enough about direct injection to complain)
    upload_2023-9-23_14-19-27.png

there is also no heat shieleding once again
    upload_2023-9-23_14-20-45.png

    ETK 800 & K-Series

on inline 4 engines under the plastic engine cover, there isnt anything modeled, no coils or properly done valve covers
    upload_2023-9-23_14-21-59.png
The plastic etk logo seems to be an airbox, but then whats that other thing in the front?
    upload_2023-9-23_14-23-16.png
also apart from not having heat shielding once again, the header looks like plastic
    upload_2023-9-23_14-24-3.png
the i6 engine seems to be using the exact same engine cover as the i4 despite being bigger
    upload_2023-9-23_14-25-43.png

the v8... well thats a complete mess
the intake tube is going directly towards the valve cover
    upload_2023-9-23_14-27-13.png
    theres no intake manifold
    upload_2023-9-23_14-27-49.png
parts of the bastion v8 valve cover are still there undeleted
    upload_2023-9-23_14-28-22.png
the headers are clipping (switched to blender so i can see it better)
    upload_2023-9-23_14-30-44.png
the selected parts are part of the bastion valvecover and are poorly covered by the ugly valve cover taken from the i4
    upload_2023-9-23_14-31-46.png
    upload_2023-9-23_14-31-54.png
    * im ignoring the pulleys not moving, this is a limitation of the game (nodemove is used since they share the same engine mesh and code, but nodemove doesnt make props move so its impossible to make em move unless you make it very janky)

    Etk-I

ill give this one a pass for being an old non remastered car, but ill still point out that the turbo is massively huge and the filter is so small
    upload_2023-9-23_14-34-43.png
    the pulleys also dont move
    upload_2023-9-23_14-34-56.png

    * im skipping the T-series, it seems to have a lot of things wrong on the engine but im just not knowledable in big truck engines so i wont critisize it

    Autara

the PLASTIC intake manifold is wayy too close to the hot exhaust tube and muffler, this is just begging to be melted, it really makes sense to have a heatshield on this, also no fuel rail
    upload_2023-9-23_14-37-43.png
there are just no pulleys on this one
    upload_2023-9-23_14-36-58.png

    SBR4

the exhaust is clipping with the pulleys (which also dont move) and the turbo filter would get very dirty cuz its near the rear tire (and shit airflow too)
    upload_2023-9-23_14-40-55.png

    Sunburst

my eyes are in constant pain whenever i see a sunburst engine bay
it just looks so bad, the exhaust header looks like a 4 finger hand, the intake manifold looks like a metal spray painted log and the tubing looks bad
    upload_2023-9-23_14-42-54.png

    200bx

ill give this one a pass for being an old non remastered car, but ill still point out that that intake manifold seems massive and there is not a fan in that radiator fan hosuing
    upload_2023-9-23_15-28-28.png

    Covet

the sohc valve cover seems very big for a single cam
    upload_2023-9-23_14-46-52.png

    Hopper

same speech about being old car, pulleys dont move
    upload_2023-9-23_15-19-49.png

    Miramar

    same its old speech again...
but who let their kid paint the wiring, it looks seriuosly bad
    upload_2023-9-23_15-21-19.png
the header also looks like a rectangle and not a tube shape
    upload_2023-9-23_15-22-23.png

    SP dunekicker

theres only one coil pack?? dunn o how they messed this up
    upload_2023-9-23_15-23-34.png

That is all, this is a long one lol

Thank you for this detailed feedback, we are taking a look at this and reviewing the issues, to see which ones will be feasible to fix for the near future. Thanks for checking in Blender too, that makes it easier to see what caused the issues.

not to mention the wiper stalk as the shifter in the D series, the carburetor manifold on the injected v6 from Bruckell/Soliad and the lack of fuel rails, the weird injected manifold on the Gavril OHC v8s, overall lack of engine detail, stock engine managements being kinda weird, unrealistic rev limiters, dual-clutch transmissions behaving weirdly, shared engines being different, unrealistic figures, etc.

Lmao have you seen the supercharger in the Grand Marshall pipe clipping with the hood-exit exhaust? Check that out.

Tbh I don't have too much of the problems about non moving pulleys since realistically any damage with the engine block in a crash (JBeam wise) will total the car so the moving pulleys don't matter much, especially in the Bolide and Scintilla.

For the Bolide and Scintilla though the fuel rails are prolly replaced by fuel injector wires.

In the Scintilla I don't think there will be a need for heatshields on headers because there's sufficient cooling on the sides and rear, unlike the ETK or Bastion where there's hardly any cooling on the side so they have to put heatshields on.

Aurata's engine looks like it is based on a bike engine, and bike engines have no external pulleys, since the only accessory connected to the engine is the alternator, and it can be miniaturized and mounted directly on the tip of the Crankshaft.
