I'm loving the new mirrors, but they should be the same colour as the car. Any possibility to get a LHD version as well? for the people who are stuck on the right side of the road?
Any possibility to get a RHD version of all the other vehicles in the game as well (except 1 other mod and the pigeon) for the people who are stuck on the correct side of the road? Take what you are given or mod it yourself. I personally think its about time there were some more RHD cars in the game.
I cant wait until this car gets out it reminds me of a SSC Ultimate Aero, kind of. Looks great can't wait until it is released. Keep up the good work man! This will no doubt, if done right, be my favorite mod in the game.
Looking absolutely brilliant mate! In regards to the wing mirrors, I prefer the second type to the first one, makes it look a lot more slick and smooth!
I like the 2nd mirrors best however I think the actual mirror part should not be an oval. Imo I think it should be more of a rectangular shape. Nice job though.
Maj_TurboLag have you considered joining the dev team for modelling...I mean with your skills you have shown here...I guess you have the skills to really do extremely detailed modelling...just a suggestion...but apply for a job with them...
It's a nice thought. Maybe in 3 or 4 years time once I've learned way more than I have now. I'm certain the development team would be looking for modellers who are quick and efficient. I'm still extremely slow and I'm still clueless about texturing, hence why I'm resorting to using materials until I've learned more. Edit: Hopefully the final mirror design, because I quite like this one.
I have not forgotten about it at all. Far from it. It is still in the most basic stages of jbeaming (just the chassis is done) so there hasn't been anything worth updating the thread with for a while. Unless you want to just see render after render of the same thing, but that would get boring quick. I've contemplated outsourcing the task to someone more skilled to speed things up, but that wouldn't benefit me much. I'd much prefer to do it all myself, however long it takes. Don't worry. I've spent way too much time on it to let it rot in forgotten project hell. I'll get a small progress update up soon. Don't lose hope, I'm trying my best
Ok! great news to hear your still working on it, always seems the best cars are forgotten or take awhile but I don't mind if it takes a year as long as you don't give up!
