    1. Create a folder in BeamNG.drive/0.30/mods/unpacked/ and call it whatever you want
    2. In that, add a folder called „vehicles”
    3. Go to the BeamNG files, BeamNG.drive/content/vehicles/ and find the vehicle you want to edit the transmission on
    4. Make a folder in 0.30/mods/unpacked/modname/vehicles/ which is the same name as the folder of the car you are trying to edit
    5. Copy carname_transmission.jbeam (or in some cases carname_transaxle.jbeam or something else) from the game files to your folder. Make sure to copy, not move the file.
    6. Edit the version in the mod folder. It will overwrite the vanilla transmission in-game, but you can deactivate or delete the mod and the vanilla files are untouched.
    7. If your game was already running while you did this, press Ctrl+L. Press Ctrl+R while in-game after every change of the jbeam.

And voila! You can now edit different values of the automatic transmission.
    Hope this helped :p
And a thing, if you want to upload it to the repository, you’d have to modify it a bit, but that’s a whole other can of worms.

Well thank you! i will start editing the transmissions to my liking. It is just for me personal. Another thing i forgot to write do you know by any chance how i could add Idle Creep to some "automatics" like DCTs? IRL many of them simulate this behavior by letting the clutch slip a little to emulate a conventional torque converter auto as you know and i wanna add that to the transmissions that unfortunately dont use that for now.
