SOLVED Ability to increase the career car limit?

I wanna increase the amount of cars I can own in career mode, the 5 limit is genuinely ruining it for me because I'm just too scared to buy anything because I've only got 5 spots. I can't buy anything I actually like

 

In case you didn't notice the huge warning when trying out career mode, it is still a work in progress. This means the 5-car limit is most likely temporary for now for one reason or another.

 

You could try scavenging through the game files in order to find the file that defines said limit and change it to whatever you like.

 

oh, I forgot to make it clear that I meant I wanted to do it myself manually for my own game

Ive scavanged all over and I cant find it

 

Found it: Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\lua\ge\extensions\career\modules\inventory.lua" and change local slotAmount = 5 to the amount you like.

ok new question, where does BeamNG store the info on how much money I have in career mode

Any chance anyone knows where the limit of the number of vehicle i can pull out to deliver as i would like to use a flatbed to deliver multiple vehicles and it says limit reached or on the same note trailers because some trailer have the ability to double up.

 

Close you game and open "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\lua\ge\extensions\career\modules\delivery\cargoScreen.lua" and then search for:

item.enabled = true
item.disableReason = "Limit reached"

what i marked green is normaly set on false, set it on true and save it. then just close evrything and open the career mode then you should be able to accept as much missions as you wish

 

gotta come back to this, it seems they moved the amount of money I have somewhere, anyone know where?

 

The same place as it was in 0.32 can confirm it hasn't moved and neither has the place for more garage slots in 0.33

 

Tried to do this and it didn't work This is what i did. I increased my vehicle count to 60, Then reloaded the game. That didn't work so i decided to try verifying the integrity of the game files and then trying. Still didn't work. Tried changing the max amount of cars to something under 10. Still didn't work, I'm really confused. Do i need to start a new save or something for the changes to apply?
