Hey, guys! I recently bought the key for this awesome game and I love it so far. I want to support it and maybe make some stuff of my own! Would any kind soul be able to give me the run-down around here? Thanks so much!
Thats great, really this is a really goo simulation game and i am extremely happy that people are joining an such, i only joined about a year ago, im not sure how good you are at things but i heard maps are like , hard and then when you start making vehicles that's when it gets extremely hard and you will encounter allot of problems. if you have experience i would be extremely happy to see some content from you. although this community can be inspiring, at other times its a bunch of d-bags. \i sure hope this has welcomed you A few things you should avoid while being in this community to make allot of friends would be: Not bumping year old posts for no reason. (bumping is when u go to a year old post and post an extremely useless comment, or any comment at all) Try not to join in on massive wars going on. Keep swearing to a minimum. uhh thats all i got for now XD (This is the internet, people think they are allowed to voice their opinion just because they are not standing in front of the other guy. Think of a thread like a group meeting of people around a fireplace where a certain topic is discussed. I know for sure that most people that behave like idiots on the internet would never behave like that in real life, with real people. So please be aware, the other people in a thread, are human beings. - i stole this off wiki :s)
Heh, thanks. If map making is anything like mapping in Source, I may be able to get the hang of it. But I doubt it. Anyway, are there any tips on better controlling vehicles? I fish-tail like crazy! :O
http://www.beamng.com/threads/9127-Improved-Keyboard-Steering? Follow the directions of this page and handling is much better with keyboards. But even so, the key to handling vehicles with a keyboard is gentleness with the controls.
Thank you, friend! I've found that out, but I feel like I'm travelling like 4mph. The little hatchback handles the best, that I've found, so far. I like how the cars all look like combinations of real cars. The standard truck is a combo of a ford ranger and some chevy/gmc.
