You might think its that easy --- Post updated --- Its generally the w109 tbh but i cant change the thread name
I know that making such a mod takes time and a lot of work, and I appreciate your work. Yes, they told me so
I really love this mod, it’s amazing. The cassis is so smooth, awesome! Made a little video driving it trough Johnson Valley
By the way, as far as the mod goes, I'm glad to see some stuff fixed, like the doors and the trunk. Also the interior looks much better! Maybe I don't have the most recent version, but a couple things left: the lights do not "break" - they stay lit up even if they break off the car. Easy jbeam fix, gotta make the texture swap to broken and make the spotlight know of the break group. the 2.8, 3.0L I6 engines do not show mesh when selected. I looked into the jbeam, the mesh for those is "Sel_engine_2", perhaps that mesh doesn't exist...? Quick fix: make the mesh "Sel_engine", that one exists, but I don't know what the intent is, maybe the author planned a different mesh for the I6 engines, so a more proper fix would be to actually model the I6 engine. the interior seat material is still very simple (seems like a single color). Maybe some texture would be nice. I know making materials and textures is super annoying and frustrating work. the gap between the rear door and the body seems unusually big. Easy fix: the gap between the front and rear door is basically nonexistent. I suspect the mesh might be displaced just a tiny bit, so either fix the offset in Blender (maybe just applying position might do the trick), or give the flexbody a tiny offset backwards in jbeam. In any case, this mod already looks amazing, so don't take this in a negative way, just some suggestions to polish it more.
im no longer working on it and im tired of people saying the engine meshes dont show up when legit all you have to do is clear the cache as i CLEARLY state it in the thread
Sure, but no need to be so salty about it. I'll fix it for myself, the door gap, too. Just checked the dae file, someone forgot to apply location for the rear doors, actually, windows also have non-zero position, and different from the door lol.
I would like the fix too, but i can not do it myself. Once it's done, maybe you could upload it here if it's okay for you and mythakreep?
