Could you please fix the shadows disappearing when decreasing FOV?

When I try to decrease FOV in the Path Camera Tool, the shadows of cars and other objects weirdly disappear while zooming in at them.

I have asked for this for years and years now, (2017)
If you stay on the shadow side, the shadow will not disappear, but when your camera is in between the *sun* and the *object* (car) the shadow will disappear. They really need to get this sorted out.
I have asked every time they talk about updating their graphics and lightening stuff. (They could at least tell us why it is taking so long, of if it ever going to happen at all)

    There's a solution to that:
in the World Editor, click top left "window", then "Inspector".
Click again top left "window", then "Scene Tree". In the Scene Tree Search field, search "sunsky", which will appear in the inspector window you just opened.

Under the tab "Advanced Lighting", increase "Shadow Distance" from 1600 (default) to let's say 2600.You can go higher but for most situations this is enough.

In the same inspector window of "sunsky": to make the shadows bit sharper when closer, increase the "logweight" from 0.980 (default) to 0.989

And since you're already here, also increase the "texSize" from 1024 (default) to 2048 (which is maximum).

yeah, i'm aware of that, I've been tweaking these settings, but this solution is far from perfect.
