Since it's based on a Jeep, why it's an Ibishu instead of a Gavril or Bruckell

The name is going to be changed in the future, and it was originally named after the Ibishu Hopper. :p

progress lookin good so far, only problem is that making a whole car from scratch is no simple task. Just a warning as it does get quite hectic to say the least. (Also please enable shade smooth, weighted normals and mirror modifiers.)

Yeah, I know it's a pain, and I will enable those right now. I was just going to do that when I was done with the inner trunk area thingy.

Great mod, must say, looking forward to it.
While using Shade Smooth, remember to utilise the Autosmooth feature to ~45-60 degrees :D

I don't know how to use weighted normals, like I said, I've never made a car before, so I've not had to use it. I do know how to use shade smooth and mirror modifiers already though.

In the menu on the right, click this:
    IMG_1364.jpeg
    Then, select every mesh.
In that menu, click on Normals, then enable Autosmooth, right click it and press “Copy To Selected”.
Then there’s an option to adjust the angle, put a value in the range of 45 - 60 degrees, then right click that, and once again press “Copy To Selected”.
    Hope this helps!

After tinkering with 3D stuff for a decade now, I feel like using weighted normals is cheating. No matter how messy your mesh is, it will look good regardless.

Okay so I did that but there was this weird flat looking shaded spot on the quarter panel. I found out it wasn't connected to the rest of the quarter panel, so I tried to fix it, but it just caused the whole quarter panel and rocker to separate.

I did make a copy though! But on the copy the whole thing is connected.

So, I'm confused on what happened.

Doubtful. There's a lot of other little problems like replacing all four front ball joints and wheel bearings to deal with. The transmission leak is the worst problem.

If you need any detail pictures, let me know.

Why don't you just call it 'Archer'? The author of the Ibishu Blackfoot may call his new XJ by that name.

Can't wait to try this mod out! My mom drives a ZJ for mail delivery. If you need any pictures of anything specific let me know . It's a 98 2wd 4.0. Can't help a whole lot on the interior though, it's a little different than any ZJ you've seen
