I wonder if we'll see a facelift based on the newer eagles, a newer stand up sleeper would be awesome

Oh yeah, those are some of the only good-looking modern trucks. It also has a grille quite similar to the T-Series’.

I’ve been on the internet for a hot minute, I know how to do my homework.

But now that someone has brought up the port, wonder if we’ll ever see container trailers, those seem to crash more often than anything else, and they seem to have a habit of going in spectacular fashion. Something about shippers oversees not caring about load securement.

I also noticed one strange thing, they replaced the image in the update log for some reason, those versions were not even close to what is shown on them! A controversial decision, not historical!

Luckily the ones in the devblog are still there. It still kinda sucks that they removed them from Steam though – why not keep them and just update descriptions with a warning saying yeah, this is a very old version of this game, currently it looks much better as you can see here *link*.

A container trailer plus a container picker of some kind would be a welcome addition. Usually container pickers are a dedicated piece of equipment but there are wheel loaders with picker attachments too. A wheel loader would be a good addition in general with so many options for attachments. I know an excavator was talked about a while ago but a front end loader would provide more use cases in Beam.

Drops provide the benefits of a tri-drive without wearing out an extra set of tires when you don't need them, I think that's the main reason for them. And yes drops are always air sprung that I know of, that also provides the benefit of being adjustable so you can tune the weight on the front axle, another reason why I like drop axles. You do have to be careful with the dual tire, non-steerable drops like my lowboy truck has though. I've had a little too much pressure in my drop coming up to a corner on a slippery road and I nearly went straight into the ditch.

The dump truck I normally drive has the Hendrickson suspension you pictured, it rides terrible, but it does articulate well. I'm not sure it would work any better offroad than leaf spring style walking beams though.
I would guess it's mostly trying to save our roads, the more spread out the weight the better. It also somewhat depends on the state. The lowboy setup I drive is licensed in Idaho for 96,000 without an overweight permit, and lots more with the permit depending on the route. It is a four axle truck and three axle trailer though.
My neighbors FLA Freightliner is a single axle with air ride, it is a little newer, but not much. I think it's a 1994.

I think a dump truck upfield with working forks, in addition to a Dumpster prop, would be great for the COE.

We do have the 40ft conex prop in game already, with multiple maps having harbors with 40ft conex boxes littered around. It would make sense to see at least 1 T-Series equiped to handle them, plus a smaller Conex box prop.

There's lots of options for handling Conex boxes. Dedicated equipment, sidelifter trucks, rollback trucks. When I have to move a 20ft or smaller I usually just manhandle it with a Cat 950 with forks or a knuckleboom truck.

I got talked into moving a 40 footer with our stepdeck, we're one of the only ones around here that has a winch on one of our trailers. I wouldn't recommend winching a container on, it was pretty sketch.

60-80GB, because vehicles and maps take up a lot of space and other stuff.
