Hey guys, So I have spent several months working on this submersible for BeamNG. It works pretty well and (SORRY) it is at the moment going to be a paid mod. I am not asking very much considering how long it took me to make, and the level of detail put into it. Check it out and get it either: 1) on patron [--here--] 2) on ko-fi [--here--] If you are a youtuber/content creator of any type feel free to message me with a link to your page so I can see how many viewers/subscribers/etc you have. If you have a large enough incoming volume, I will almost definitely provide you with a free copy, under the single condition that if you do use the sub in a video, please post a link to the patreon store page. I was also considering a promotional period where I may provide link to download it to a set number of people (probably here in the forum). So if it is something people are interested in giving a try please do show some love here *****************************************update***************************************** Hello folks, Due to a new job I haven't had a lot of time to work on beamng projects any longer. :/ However, I was able to spend a bit of time fixing the bugs mentioned and happy to release a new v2 update that should fix a few bugs (especially the texture issue). For my past supporters on patreon: Go to the product/purchase page and you should see a new v2 download link. For my past supporters on kofi: Go to the product/purchase page and you should see a new v2 download link. Installation/Upgade Instructions: Make sure to remove any files from the temp folder, and clear the cache. You also need to reinstall the vehicle entirely, cannot be overwritten as files need to be added and removed to fix the bugs. Delete the old zip file, and drag the new one into the mods folder. Hope this release fixes the issues people were having, and thank you again for all your support ******************************************************************************************* As summarized in the link above it features: - Forward/Backward/Up/Down Thrusters - Interior/Exterior Lights (in multiple brightness levels and colors) - Internal/External Camera Views - 3 different configurations (indestructable/destructable/balanced) - Useable ballast simulation via custom lua. Can increase/decrease it via keyboard shortcuts. - Weights on frame, that are removeable via nodegrabber (resulting in weight decrease for each one jettisoned off the frame). - Numerous deformable parts/props, with realistic behaviors (for instance if you lose the left thruster, the left thrust will no longer function). - Much more, check it out! Countless hours were put into making this submersible, in order to make it both as detailed and functional as possible.
I am working on the an-225 at the moment, as well as a 777. So yes ;-) . I used to (still at times do) make planes for X-Plane. Importing those models has shown some promise. As the submarine (cough submersible) is now pretty much done, I will likely work on a plane and post pictures soon.
it's an account for my projects, as I don't want to share my personal account/identity. pretty common/reasonable thing people do when looking to have a buisiness here are some screenshots of the development process, as to back my claim
YOU ARE DOING AN AN225 AND A 777? --- Post updated --- You could make a thread if you have enough progress. They are gonna be paid?
Lets just go with the an-225 , the 777 was imported from Rigs of Rods and its honestly crap at this stage. I plan to release some free things in the near future as I mainly just enjoy making mods for bng, and would like to share some things for free as well if I am asking people to pay for things... its only fair I suppose But in terms of making an aircraft for free, it is not likely. It takes a lot of hours of work both manipulating the model as well as the cooresponding jbeam files. I am looking into a few things at the moment that will be a balance of both not too time-consuming/difficult to make as well as fun to use. One of these things I started on today is a UAV/Drone with missles. Going to try the basic of it today to see if it is going to be a hugely time consuming process, or a bit more simple like I am hoping for. If it is simple, you can expect that in the near future...and for free. Heres a few pictures, keep in mind I literally just started this today :-]
hello everyone, so for a promo, I have decided to give away some free promo copies of the mod to the first 10 people to purchase it via [THIS] ko-fi page. (if anyone even notices this post :'[ ) enjoy, only posting this here for the time being. maybe reddit depending how fast they dissapear from here . So special for bng forums users only! to those who recieve the free copies, all I ask of you is please don't redistribute it to other people (I know how easy it is to do this via kemono.party, etc..). I have no intentions of trying to stop such activity, however I hope you will oblige me ...and also if you feel like it, some feedback would be highly appreciated and I will absolutely listen to it and try to improve on any future mods best, unccrt
name is a lil bit sus --- Post updated --- nevermind how is the an225? --- Post updated --- ahhh what
Happened to check the forums the minute this was posted (8 remaining at the time of download). The model quality is surprisingly good. It's loading fine for me, try clearing cache.
Its nice to see it running on somones computer that is actually good...I have a rx 580 and you don't even wanna know how garbage the processor is .... was a free computer though so good enough for me for now heh --- Post updated --- Lemme know if you still can't get it working, i'll see if I can help Try removing from the BeamNG root directory the folders: `vehicles/plosion_gate` `temp/vehicles/plosion_gate` --- Post updated --- I see you bought it twice, ha Not really sure what the benefit of this will be, or if it was accidental... but won't really do much gonna be the same as the first copy Lol
